Purchase Green

Review: Prior to our nearly $10k purchase of artificial grass I inquired whether it ever goes on sale. I was told it never does so I decided to make the purchase vs. waiting, as we were not in a rush. Upon purchase, I asked if it went on sale in the near future if we could obtain an adjustment- the salesperson said it should not be a problem to work out. Approximately 2 weeks later, an email arrived indicating the grass we purchased was now on sale. I called to kindly ask if we could get a price adjustment-- no one called back for 5 hours. When I called back a fourth time, I was informed rudely that we could not get an adjustment and 'the salesperson would have never said we could get an adjustment, and that the manager would have never said that the grass 'never' goes on sale.' When I said perhaps I could work it through my visa card to inquire further about an adjustment, as they said it was pointless go escalate to management,I was accused of 'threatnening' them, and was spoken to in a very condescending and rude manner. It was in fact, the manager's tone that was threatening. Furthermore, when I inquired about returning a bottle of glue, I learned there is a 20% restocking fee, which I apparently had initialed in the paperwork, but the details of the restock were never verbally pointed out or communicated. I then contacted my credit card company, who informed me the decision maker was in a meeting and would contact me. It has been over 2 weeks and there is still no response. Bottom line is we were misled and treated rudely in the end, once the sale was made.Desired Settlement: Our #1 ask is a refund for the difference between the purchase and sales price, which equates to an adjustment of $1250.00. Had we known a sale was pending, we would have delayed the purchase, and thought at purchase that we could get an adjustment.
