Puppy BE Good

Darn! Sorry to read this issue has happened before. I also see on a link when searching the first name of breeder, a site called [redacted] that is having a discussion about this breeder.
Our experience: Deposit on puppy. Within a couple of weeks of being ready to pick up...mother dog bit pups and entire litter died...ENTIRE LITTER. She stated it would be too expensive for them to be seen by a vet. Transferred deposit to new litter. So far, pup is healthy but we noticed in the car on the way home...worms...and fleas. Yup, she had both. Because of concerns, vet felt it best to do all vaccinations over in case they might not have actually been done.
I don't know what's standard...and and I don't know about breeding and breeders...but there were enough other things (promises made and not kept etc) that began to raise doubts. It is so hard if you're not an expert to know all of the things to look for and to know if you're making a good choice. Even [redacted] and individual breed organizations don't agree. The vet certainly didn't like what he saw in the paperwork and advice to new owners put out by the breeder. Just hard to know. Just too many concerns on this one to feel good about it.
