I love taking my dog to Pup Town and she LOVES going there. Everytime we get close to the shop she becomes excited and as soon as I open the door she jumps out and if she wasn't leashed she'd make a beeline straight for the door. The groomers are all professional and treat the dogs with love and care as if they were one of their own. Pup Town will have my business for life.
Review: Operating a business with very, very low customer service. Business discriminates against new clients for unknown reasons. Business employee told me they would not provide services to me but did not have a valid reason.Desired Settlement: I would like the Revdex.com to look into the business practices of this company; particularly their intake of clients and reasoning for denying services to individuals (specifically, myself).

Response:
I have received the email with the complaint made by [redacted] against out company , I [redacted] the owner of Pup Town am very sorry to hear she felt discriminated against. I feel it should be explained in detail all that we have done to make sure we have made our plans very clear to our customers (new and reoccurring ). on March 11th on our [redacted] page we posted our fist post letting people know we would be cutting back our hours due to my pregnancy, most recently on April 4th I even posted a list of other great groomers customers can call to get their pups groomed in case they are having trouble booking with us. Also on our business phone I clearly state I would be gone on maternity leave for 4 weeks, not taking any new clients and my assistant groomer would only be doing baths as she is not fully trained to do what I do. My employee is trained to check when the last time the customer has been in and figure out if the dog is in good or poor shape (matted), [redacted] dog ([redacted]) was last seen for a haircut 5/2/13, based on this information she did give [redacted] a call and let her know that if the dog was matted she could not groom her pup. Our policy is not to take matted dogs due to safety reasons and the fact that my assistant groomer is not trained to do them. It was said to her that if the dog was in good shape to call back an book otherwise wait for my return.
