Review: The coat check man would not give me my coat on a sub zero night - I told him what was in each pocket! And it was an old pea coat; but heavy and just warm, great.. But he laughed, told me to forget it, and I was forced to leave coatless. It was really cold, and we had been there for a few hours, had a great time, for my brother's birthday. I called 5 times, every day, with no reply. My mother found out (in NJ - she is a reporter) and called 7 times, plus contacted the co owners other restaurant. No once called back as promised. This happened on Friday, Feb. *.

I visited NJ on Thursday Feb. ** and my mom insisted on buying me a new winter coat at [redacted]'s (on sale) since it was so cold it was below zero again. I only had my spring leather jacket.

We are all upset: me, my older brother who used to love the place, and my family. It could have been dangerous and this coat check man stole my coat. Why? We called the police - they told us to contact you.Desired Settlement: They can either replace the coast by paying for my new winter coat (have receipt from [redacted]'s dated 2.** at 7:30 p.m.)

or ship us back my coat.

Also, we want an apology.

I should have filed a police report but did not know to to that - now I do.

What a terrible thing to do to someone who checked their coat - and couldn't find the ticket - when I told him exactly what was in each pocket (no one would have guessed but the owner). And worst of all he laughed and told me good luck in the cold.
