customer has had 3 or more leaks on his line that were his responsibility. The customer was granted a leak adjustment just last year, along with the option to split pay the bill in question so it wouldn't be such a hardship. Also, it is our due diligence during reading that often notices the leaks and the customer is notified immediately that he may have a problem. We feel that we have been more than fair and communicative regarding our policy, offering to allow payments to be made. The leaks are not due in any part to our equipment or fault.
