To Whom It May Concern-Our policy, written on the bottom of every receipt, and also posted on our checkout area in all our locations, states "Special promotions are EXCHANGEABLE within 14 days"Our cashiers/staff regularly discount items to push a sale, or just to be friendly and earn customer trust...
to get them to come and shop again. They are also trained to explain at checkout, whenever a discount is applied, to state that the item has been discounted and is exchangeable only, reiterating our policy. This policy has always been in place with our company. We are willing to still allow an exchange or a store credit to our customer in good faith. The original purchase date was 4-**-16Our policy is 14 days for exchanges or returns/refunds.

Marlenis did not explain that the $3 made this a special promotion that could not be returned for a refund If she had, I would not have made the purchase. A 10% discount of $3 is not adequate compensation for giving up my right to a refund. It appears the store never sells anything at full price in order to avoid ever giving a refund. Legitimate business don’t operate this way.
