I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The bank justified thieir position of holding a payroll check for 7 days, even when it cleared the same day it was presented and was stamped payroll from the State of Wisc.  I had no complaints on the hold, if they had put the customary 3 day hold there would have been no problems as the checks and charges began to come through 3 days AFTER the check was deposited.  The standard bank letter they sent  me specifically stated they would return any charges that were incurred because of the holds they put on my check, IF in fact the check cleared.  What is interesting is that I had periodically deposited third party personal checks via mobile deposit and never had a problem with the holding of funds, which realistically, they should've been held 7 days if it was a case of security.  They did not refund the charges without a fight.  The bank has NOT returned my account to its previous status which was another request and therefore my account standing is now flawed because of all the NSF's that were  initiated on my account.  I will accept the return of funds that I requested and end the complaint, however, I am terribly dissappointed with the bank.  Thank you for your assistance in rectifying the wrong. It is a shame it came to this.
