Protective Solutions took care of the whole situation promptly, professionally and at a very reasonable cost. Right from the beginning they explained what could be done and provided a detailed estimate. They not only did mold remediation, repair of the kitchen sink's cabinet and of the walls but also sanitized the area and the A/C ducts. They were able to schedule it right away and worked after normal hours to ensure it was completed in time for closing on the sale of my townhouse and everything looks great.

protective solutions did the mold remediation but Air quality test came up with Mold spo-asked to redo the work they denied but provided ***.
My unit in Orlando (12977 Lexington Summit Street) had a mold issue due to the roof leakage so we requested from the Protective solutions to resolve the issue. We were provided with estimate of $1790 as agreed we went ahead with the completion of the work. After the mold cleanup is done we were provided by that same company with the sanitization certificate to prove there is no mold.
After the work has been completed by the company few days later Tenant reported breathing issues in the unit where the mold remediation was performed and started complaining about the smell. At that time they demanded an Air quality test be performed to prove there is nothing in the air (mold spores) so my property mgr. was directed to hire an Air quality tester for $300.00 and as you can see from the attached air quality test it was reported there are infect dangerous mold spores present and the inspected asked the protective solutions to return to the area and redo the work.
There has been multiple attempts made to the Company with no real answers as we keep getting run around as to they did not know where the mold was. In fact they being a mold remediation company should know where to clean for the mold!. I can provide the correspondence I had with Protective solutions along with my Property manager's communications with them
After almost 3 weeks of unproductive emails and calls Protective solutions finally decided to send some to the unit to see the issue. BUT again the same run around stating "they followed the protocol" and refused to remediate the issue. The person named "Tom" came to the unit just walked out when my property mgr. requested proper cleanup of the mold issue. Also company did not provide any refund since the cleanup was not satisfactory nor up to Air quality standards or no talk of one year guarantee after the cleanup.
Mold remediation $1790.00 (paid to Protective solutions)
Air Quality test (independent of this company) $300.00
I want my money refunded to me based on their claim - since the work is NOt satisfactorily completed. And the Sanitation cert has NO value as the independent Air Quality test reveled Mold Spores int hat room
Contact Name and Title: Claudia B Office AdmiContact Phone: 4074642169Contact Email: [email protected] were called out to give a proposal a roof leak- we were showed a specific area of work- where there had been water intrusion- bedroom, closet and bathroom. We removed the carpet and padding, and removed the wet drywall and ceiling drywall and followed proper Remediation. The realtor as well as the owner was trying to keep the cost as low as possible. We did not clean the air handler, we only fogged the unit and duct system. We issued a Certificate of Sanitization, again to keep the pricing lower for the owner. When the Realtor let us know that the tenant was having breathing problems, we went back out and met with Annette O with *** on Oct. 9th. We tried to explain that we did do proper remediation IN THE AREA that we were showed. We explained that they needed to have testing and a PROTOCOL done. Florida Law is very specific and Mold Remediation Companies cannot do testing. We can refer companies, but BY LAW we cannot do testing. WE CAN ONLY GIVE PROPOSALS FOR VISUAL AREAS. If the testing came back as elevated, we would need a PROTOCOL WRITTEN BY A LICENSED MOLD ASSESSOR. The Realtor and the Homeowner,*** did not want to do this. We MUST follow the Law set by the State of Florida, if there is elevated mold spores, there has to be a Proper PROTOCOL written to show the Remediation company where the additional work should be done. We do warranty our work for ONE YEAR, and we stand by that Warranty - IN THE AREA THAT WE DO REMEDIATION. However, it is more likely, that there is mold in OTHER areas of the home. Since we treated only one area, mold spores can spread throughout the home, and cause issues. THis is a common problem in homes where there is work in one area completed, but there are multiple problems. Without proper protocol we are at a standstill. I know that the Laws are difficult to understand at times, but we have to follow them. If the owner will get a protocol we will be happy to follow it,it is shows that there is still mold in the area we worked, we will certainly keep our word on the Warranty

I found large, thick patches of mold hidden on the backsides of drywall between my kitchen and bathroom stretching 70 inches wide in my condo unit I just purchased. Protective solutions presented me with detail written proposal stating remediation process and what's covered.
The Admin Claudia. She was always there to help in working with written proposal, or working on getting answers to question, She also had the owner on the phone to address my concerns. Throughout the job they document everything with over a hundred photos showing, the extend of mold, damage, (which went beyond just that one wall), job in progress from start to finish.
I feel I can definitely trust them doing the great job mold remediation and leaving you clean, healthy feeling from a very stressful situation.
