Customer took vehicle to Honda dealership and was told that the a starter was badShe then called GAC and asked if the starter was covered under warrantyShe was asked if she had her invoice so that we could check whether that part was under a or year warranty(We had transitioned from a to
year warranty in 2014.) She said that she would find her invoice and call backShe did not call backShe chose to have her car repaired at the dealership.Then, the customer came to the shop the following morning telling us that there was a year warranty on her starterShe did not produce an invoice until later that dayThe invoice clearly states that all warranty work must be done at our shopIf given the opportunity, we would have towed the vehicle into our shop and replaced the starter with no charge to the customerAs a goodwill gesture, we are willing to refund the customer $
