ProSpec Services

On April 17, 2011, my home was hit by a tornado. The roof was shattered. My husband and I decided to choose ProSpec Services. I spoke with the contractor, [redacted] He wrote a proposal. Demo roof shingles, haul debris, replace damaged roof decking(approximately 5 sheets of OSB/plywood, 15 lb felt and install new 30 year Georgetown gray shingles. Also install roof fan for the attic and install 60 ft of aluminum gutter and three down spouts at the front and rear. The total was $4558.00. So in 2014, I started seeing water spots in my living room, dining room and laundry room. We called ProSpec several times. The shingles began to fall off the roof. My husband observed a huge hole and rotten wood where the shingles were hanging. After several arguments over the phone, Mr. [redacted] sent someone to repair the roof. Last month, I began to see water spots on my bedroom ceiling, bathroom ceiling and closet ceiling. We have called Mr. [redacted] several times. He came out to look at my roof on July 9, 2015. My husband showed Mr. [redacted] where the tree branch from the 2011 tornado was still stuck in the roof. Mr. [redacted] said he would fix the problem. On July 13, 2015, Mr. [redacted] sent someone to put an tarp over the area where the huge hole is located. We have not heard from him. I have called him several times and he has not returned any calls. It has rained at least three times since his last visit. Now, there is mold on the ceiling of my bedroom closet. I am frustrated and [redacted]! I am glad we took pictures!Desired SettlementI would like for my roof to be replaced. I would like for the water spots and the mold to be removed from my ceiling. ProSpec Services did a terrible job!
