Great friendly customer service. Work preformed professionally. Have used them several times all with great satisfaction.

We used this company to shred paperwork from our garage loft. They arrived asking us to move a staircase ladder which had been there for years so they could walk up the stairs. Once up there one of employees questioned if we had insurance, we joked and said no, and he commented he would like to own part of our home. After they shredded the paper in the boxes they threw the boxes all over the garage floor and driveway. We also found lids thrown all over in the loft of the garage where the boxes were. Finally we were quoted on "bins". We didn't know what bins were. The final bill of $660.00 was submitted when they were done which we paid, but later we received another invoice for $330.00 which was identical to the one we paid. We have questioned why 2 bills but told the smaller was a mistake, even the the smaller bill was printed before the more expensive bill. This company didn't care about how they left your home, just grind the paper and run. Very bad customer service from some of the workers. I will not use them again.

My mom passed away in August and I needed to shred her personal documents. I contacted ProShred and spoke with a nice gentleman in the Tinley Park, IL office. Not only was he consoling he also made me feel comfortable with letting strangers touch my mom's documents. I had 1,050 pounds of paper that needed to be shredded. A ProShred professional came out and shredded all of my documents in front of my home. I selected ProShred because of their great reviews regarding security and professionalism. After considering several shredding companies, we settled on ProShred specifically because they are efficient, informative, and most importantly the shredding is performed on site as soon as they pick up your scheduled load. We were and always are invited to follow them to the truck to confirm that the shredding is complete and then given a confirmation sheet prior to them leaving. Also, they were the only company that could accommodate our needs. We are a small office and didn't need or want to be committed to a schedule that was too frequent and be paying additional dollars unnecessarily! ProShred is always helpful in schedule an unexpected/unscheduled visit in case of need. I would and have recommended their services to others. We have a level of trust with them over any other company we've dealt with in the past.
