Please see the attached letter sent to Mr [redacted] on 11/20/We install to stairlifts per month and have a very good installation crew and productWe sent our installer out times before sending the attached letterBut last week we did go out one more time with the manufacturer, in an attempt to show that the lift is operating properlyPlease see the letter outlining the operation of a stairlift, and the various safety mechanisms that make it stop and startMr [redacted] is upset that his wife cannot use the lift because she lets go of the up/down lever and the lift stops, which causes confusion. After the manufacturer verified that the lift was operating properly, Mr [redacted] asked us to move it over a few inchesHe had paid someone to widen the door at the top of the stairs after our initial installation, so there was now more room to move the lift and allow more space on the staircaseOur installer explained - as stated in my letter dated 11/20/- that there would be a $charge, but after he moved the lift Mr [redacted] would not pay and our installer had to leave without paymentThen he filed this complaint.I've never hung up on Mr [redacted] In fact, I can send screen shots of VERY lengthy conversations with Mr [redacted] from my phone showing the lengths we've gone to, in an attempt to rectify the situationOf course, we have not received payment for the final moving of the stairlift.Sincerely, [redacted] - VP, Promise HomeWorks
