We wish to explain the issues with this wedding First off, the client only filled out our public event planning form which is open to anyone to use for any DJ they wish to hire It is NOT exclusive to us The first part of the issue happened when the client claimed they purchased a discount at a charity event We do not offer any discounts on weddings at all We have been in business for over years never missed a show for any reasonThere were several issues with this wedding from the beginning First they claimed they got a discount at a benefit which I am the only person authorized to make such a discount but the client did not produce anything to us stating they had a discount Secondly, discounts that we do have are never more then hours in length with the purchase of the same or more hours All weddings are contracted service with payment required before any acceptance of a show is made No payment was ever made nor was a contract ever done We contacted the customer and explained that we do not do free shows, weddings included.I had one of my employees at the wedding and offered services to the client and that was the end of the chat I had with my host I didn't "CON" anyone and they chose not to use her services She would have had to run home to get her equipment but was happy to do it but they refused that option and hired a $dj which they are entitled to do but they accept anything paid over our rate we are not responsible for We were not contracted, we were unpaid, there was no guarantee of rendered services to the client because they did not complete the process. We tried to make things right for the client and would have been able to do if they accepted my host that was at the wedding the whole time but they chose not to have her work it.We have a very clear process to hire, it's noted on our site in several places that discounts do not apply to weddings We just didn't know what else we could do for them since there was no payment or contract made with us

I am rejecting this response because:The companies "Host" which was actually a guest at our wedding, made it very clear she was not capable of doing her jobShe told us she specialized in karaoke and claimed to have access to a limited amount of equipment at her homeIf this "host" attended the wedding to work, why wouldn't she bring her equipment with her? All of the necessary documents showing proof of purchase will be provided in courtIt is clear this company is going to continue to lie their way out of their lack of professionalism and integrityThey are not capable of explaining why they would be calling my wife, as she is about to walk down the aisle, to tell her they have lost our song listA song list that can be found on the same contact form they found her number on! A responsible company would of noticed this "lack of song list" days, weeks or months prior to the eventNOT the day of! Why at that point they didn't just come clean and tell us they will not be performing that evening, is incomprehensibleWhy was their "Host", hours after the phone call my wife received, the one telling us her company would not be performing tonight, hours before they were supposed to arrive? Offering to pay 100$ back to a couple they abandoned on the day of their wedding is a slap in the faceWe literally had no other choice but to hire this djWe were given hours on the night of the wedding to find this individual whom normally only does exclusive eventsHe was a friend of a friend of the wedding party and the only option due to the predicament your company put us inTherefore, the company will be held liable for there ineptitude

First off I would ask this client to send proof of their claims as far as a deposit made, the contract they say they have, etc.  in an attempt to resolve this issue we will agree to pay the client the $100 donation they claim the have payed at an auction stating exactly what services they were promised.  We are a very popular company that donates a lot of time and services to the community. So this is where we stand.  We are asking only for proofs to the clients claims.  If we didn't do absolutely everything we can, we wouldn't be claim free with a A plus rating for over 20 years.  The issue with my host is that she was happy to host the event at no extra charges. Is their choice to claim a $2500 dj which is unheard of.

Why was their "Host", hours after the phone call my wife received,  the one telling us her company would not be performing tonight, 2 hours before they were supposed to arrive? Offering to pay 100$ back to a couple they abandoned on the day of their wedding is a slap in the face. We literally had no other choice but to hire this dj. We were given 2 hours on the night of the wedding to find this individual whom normally only does exclusive events. He was a friend of a friend of the wedding party and the only option due to the predicament your company put us in. Therefore, the company will be held liable for there ineptitude.

a discount at a charity event.  We do not offer any discounts on weddings at all.  We have been in business for over 20 years never missed a show for any reason.
