We built a house with *** in Aug. 2018 and ProHome of Nebraska as their warranty "administrator". Our experience thus far has been disappointing. ProHome essentially pushes paperwork and claims have not been dealt with. Our first night in the house, we had a broken pipe, with water everywhere. It took a few days for a plumber to get it fixed, but it took several weeks for the builder to respond and assess for damage. The builder replaced a light that was ruined, but said we need to wait until our 12 month review to look for additional damage. I've pointed out on my previous "reviews" that I have trouble with the settling in my yard. The work has yet to be done and ProHome tells me it's not an emergency and needs to wait until my next review. Meanwhile spring is here and landscapers won't begin work until the builder takes care of the settling. Not a great experience. If your building a house, is inquire about the warranty and how it is administered. If they use ProHome, I'd stay away.
As Kevin has stated, ProHome is the "administrator". The builders tell us what to do and when to do it, we have no control. The subcontractors assigned warranty repairs are subs that work for and are paid by the builders and again we have no control. Kevin's frustration would be better put to use in complaining about the people and subs that give us our instructions.
I do appreciate Kevin's concerns and we will do everything we can when given approval by the builder. Thanks to all concerned.
