Review: On 7/12/12 I purchased a Probasics Red heavy duty rollator (model # [redacted] It was paid for by [redacted]. In March 2015 part of the rollator separated from from the frame. I contacted [redacted] of [redacted] on 5/12/15 & e-mailed photos of the defective frame & a copy of my sales receipt. He forwarded these to Larry R[redacted] of Probasics, who said the rollator could not be repaired & was no longer under warranty. I spoke to Mr. R[redacted] and he said based on the rollator serial # the rollator had been sold to [redacted] in 2011 and therefore was no longer under warranty. I spoke to Audrey K[redacted] of Probasics on 6/25/15, she explained that the warranty was between Probasics and [redacted] ( a durable medical equipment dealer)and not the person who buys and uses the rollator. I believe the 3 year warranty is between myself & Probasics & they should be required to honor it. Probasics is a division of Invacare which has had 6 warranty complaints in the last 3 years according to your website.Desired Settlement: I can't get around without the rollator, I would be confined to the house, & would not be able to go to my Doctor's appointments, etc. Even though the frame is defective I can walk with it, I just can't sit on it. I would like Probasics to replace my rollator with a new Red heavy duty rollator (model # [redacted]), & to send me a prepaid return label, so there is no cost to me for it's return. I will return my rollator within 7 business days after I receive the new one.
