PENC continued to take money out of my paycheck each month and I did not give authorization for the 2013-2014 school year.PENC is supposed to represent the teachers, but they are a money making organization who only looks out for themselves. Last year I told payroll for [redacted] County Schools to stop paying PENC because I did not want to be a member any further. This year the payments continued without my permission. If this was a legitimate organization then they would have tried to contact me back in February when I cancelled my payments, which means my contract with PENC should have become null and void, since I owed an outstanding balance. But they did not try to contact me or reach me because I have been working in the same school system since 2008, therefore, if they wanted to reach me, they could have! I was sent a copy of a 2013-2014 unsigned contract but no attempt was made to see why payments had been stopped last year. Desired SettlementI just want my money returned from this school year only! I did not authorize any money to be taken out and no attempt was made to contact me.
