Review: We hired Professional Brushworks, LLC to paint our condo. The job was to be done in 2 parts. The main project was to be completed before our carpet was replaced. Then the painter was going to come back and complete the project by painting the remainder of the walls and floorboards not painted prior to the carpet installation, and touch up any scratches caused by the carpet installation, and any other finishing work needed. He was going to fix cracks in a couple of the walls as a component of the paint job. After he completed the first stage of the project, the carpet removal and installation were performed. During this time, we received a bill for the entire amount of the project, which we paid, since it was due upon receipt. We notified him when the carpet installation was finished, and we asked him to complete the painting, and fix the cracks (which had simply been painted over and not repaired). He responded by saying he would complete the project on certain days, but has not done so. He initially would answer our phone calls and emails, indicating that he would come back and finish the painting. However, he has made no effort to do so. It is now over 8 months that the project has gone unfinished. We have made dozens of attempts to reach him by phone and e-mail. He had not responded to any of these, until recently, when he e-mailed, indicating he would send somebody to do the work the following week. However, that week has come and gone, and the work is still undone. He has not made any attempt to reschedule the work date(s), and again is not responding to inquiries to coordinate finishing the project.Desired Settlement: We would like him to complete the project- fix the cracks in the walls, as planned, and do the touch-up work. This includes a list of areas that still show the background white walls under the new paint, scratches and scuffs in the floorboards related to the carpet installation, replacement of a missing electrical socket faceplate, and paint the unpainted areas of the wall along the stairs and scratched areas. He has the punch list of unfinished work. We have provided it to him several times.
