Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The "mistake" I made, that the business refers to, is in being unfamiliar with SIC Codes, and in trusting Prodata that the code they said they would use (to develop the list of leads) would give us a list of engineers working in the antenna industry. Of the over 2000 leads we paid for, only a small number, fewer than 50, appeared to fit that criteria. The rest are for other industries, some marginally related to antennas and others not (e.g., a sandwich shop), and many of the leads are clearly not engineers (e.g., office managers). It does not seem to be the case that Prodata limited their leads to the agreed-upon criteria. The first file did not contain an SIC field, as promised, and the SIC/NAICS code they included in a subsequent list was clearly made up. Prodat has offered to send us more leads, but for other SIC/NAICS codes, which would not be leads that would be of any use to us. I am convinced that Prodata is not able to provide us a list of antenna engineers or they would have done so by now. I would settle for a partial refund ($3,000 of teh $4,050 we paid them), but they have not agreed to any remuneration. All they want to do now is stall, promising to send more leads that I believe would be useless.I have now seen several other similar complaints about Prodata filed with the Revdex.com. In addition to my main complaint, that they did not provide a list of antenna engineers, I have found Prodata to be unresponsive unless legal action is threatened, and unavailable by phone (the number and contact form on their website are useless). The fact that they do not accept credit cards, but want payment in advance by wire transfer or a check, should have been a warning flag. If this case gets closed as "resolved", it will only be because I gave up trying to reach a resolution with Prodata. I would tell anyone considering buying a mailing list from Prodata NOT to do business with them.

Prodata group is not in usa, its in bangalore as a infinitude global services.. And the owner is chinnimai as a sudo name brad... Brad or chinnmai stop fuling people and use your tallent in right place.

Hi Team, We have not worked with this contact and the email address([email protected]) looks like trying to keep anonymity. This can be from a made up review from competitor or an ex employee. If this is perhaps our client, we would like the contact to please let us know of his or her project details, contact details and authenticate claims, will be glad to assist in whatever way we can and make it a good experience.
I have worked with these guys on 4 lists since 2017 and had a decent transaction with Prodata Group. They were co-operative and helpful with their list and usage suggestions. The list had about 8% bounce rate which is quite good than what I have experienced with list companies. My point of contact from Prodata Group was Sean and Andrew from this team. Yes, they did send quite some followups to get my attention for which I had to say slow down but, I would recommend them considering my experience so far and list outcome
Would give 0 if I could. They lied, took forever to send the list which they sent in multiple phases, sent bad emails in their list of over 25%, and got us into a lot of trouble with spam laws. They did not replace the bad emails over 10% as promised and are poor at communication after they harass you to buy the list. Would never recommend or use ever again.
Review: I sent wire transfer of $1500 to pay for a list of Hotels and motels . Suppose to be 9000 leads. They first were going to charge $3500 but I negotiated $1500.
Sean emailed me and said once finance realizes payment the would send the list via email.
A few days after I sent the wire to their bank I sent email to [redacted] asking where the list was. He said they had to proof the list before the sent it. He said I would get it by Friday. It is now Monday.Desired Settlement: I want my initial investment of $1500 returned to my business bank account

Hi Team,This project has been delivered and we have sorted the confusion with the client. Have ensured to attend any further concernsThanks,[redacted]
Review: We (Antenna Design Associates, Inc.) entered into a contract with Pro Data Group (prodatagrp.com) of Kearny, NJ in August of 2014. They were to provide us with a targeted mailing list of Antenna Engineers, comprised of 2,025 leads at a cost of $4,050. I mailed them a check on 8/1/14, which was cashed on 8/11/14 (JP Morgan Chase).
Address: Prodata Group
3B, [redacted]
The person I mainly dealt with (always by email) is [redacted]
The phone number he gave me is [redacted] (although he never answered that number).
On 9/1/14, we received a list containing 2,002 leads, fewer than 50 of which appeared to be possibly valid entries which met the agreed upon criteria (engineers in the field of antennas). The list was padded with appliance shops, radio stations, even a sandwich shop. One of the phone numbers they supplied was for a gas station. I tried many times in vain to get Prodata to provide valid leads or provide a partial refund of $3,000. They kept stalling, even after I told them I would be filing complaints with the AG.
Research by myself and my lawyer revealed that this "company" operates out of an apartment. The phone number on their website is not theirs, the "contact us" form on their website does not work. The phone number the sales person ([redacted]) and "data manager" ([redacted]) gave me is the same. I only ever got voicemail, and the outgoing message is vague and does not state a person's name. (Brad and Sam may be the same person.) My lawyer discovered another company, Goroix Data LLC, with the same physical address, which is also likely a scam.Desired Settlement: I would like a full or partial refund of the $4050 I paid, since Prodata did not deliver what they promised. I have told them I would be willing to settle for $3,000.

Hi Team,Firstly, I would thank [redacted] for her patience with us. I apologize for myself taking time to sort this and get this redeliveredWe primarily guarantee emails and rework on bounces. It took me time to get approvals to initiate qualification and get to the depth of the matter to discover if there is in anyway we can recheck and redeliver for any issues in the list. It takes time to run it through the call center and verify records. We have redelivered the file and willing to attend any further issues on the sameThank you for bringing this to notice and again thank [redacted] for her patience with usRegards,[redacted]

Review: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The company, Prodata, was not in contact with us for several weeks, until they were notified by the Revdex.com of our complaint (which I had told them I was going to file). Then they hastily put together another mailing list, again with a vast majority of entries that do not meet the agreed upon criteria, namely, engineers at companies in the Antenna industry ([redacted]). The list was incomplete (did not contain street address), but most importantly, it contains clearly made up data (SIC, or industry code, was bogus). I checked several of the new leads and, as before, they were for companies that are definitely not in the field of Antennas. If Prodata were able to provide us with a list of 2,025 valid, relevant leads, they would have done so by now. Since they clearly cannot, I am asking for a partial refund (of the $4,050 we paid) in the amount of $3,000.

Hi Team,I have tried multiple occasions to resolve this. The client choose the sic code and took her time in choosing it as well. We worked on it and after delivering the file raised an alarm. We worked on the direction given by the client and we never took responsibility to choose and analyze an sic code for the client. Our job was to provide the list based on clients chosen criteria. In spite of all this We got back to the client to extend additional leads and stating she can still go ahead give us the right SIC codes this time but was in vain. The client here did not show any intention to work through it and please find our below email sent to the client earlier communicating the sameWe have delivered as per clients instructionsThanks,[redacted]From: [redacted]Sent:Wednesday, October 29, 2014 8:06 PMTo: Antenna Design Associates Cc: [redacted]Hi [redacted],I have asked our data team to consider the NAICS CODE: 334220Radio and Television Broadcasting and Wireless Communications EquipmentManufacturing to re process the project. Please let me know if you have any queries on the same as soon aspossible.Regards,[redacted]
Review: The product they sold me was not what they promised and I am very disappointed in what I received. I wish I never purchased the list from ProData Group. Besides the fact that half of the emails in the list are invalid, I am discovering that the majority of the remaining emails are not even for anesthesiologists. Several of the contact's data will list a name, hospital and email, but the actual email goes to a completely different person that turns out to be a lawyer, network company owner, photographer, etc. Then a large portion of the so-called anesthesiologists work in the radiology, GYN, family practice, etc., which is not practical. Therefore, I have a list that is really unusable, because I can't continue to send emails to thousands of non-anesthesiologists just so I can reach the couple hundred that are actual anesthesiologists. I will have to remove all the contact data from our database, because the majority of it is inaccurate and I can't waste my time sending to non-relevant contacts. When I go through the list, it looks like someone just assigned a whole bunch of contacts to Anesthesiologists with out actually verifying the data, because a Physiatrist and an Anesthesiologist are two completely different professions, and I am amazed at how many physiatrists are in my list of anesthesiologists.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund and I want it immediately. The response that I have received so far from Prodata Group is basically no response at all. It's as though they do care that I am an unhappy customer and are just waiting for me to go away.
Review: Prodata group LLC is in constant contact about email databases that are questionable. They request payment terms upfront, upon further research we asked them over a year ago that they cease contacting us, and/or sharing our contact for their database means.Desired Settlement: No further contact, a cease and desist was sent out Dec 18th 2015. Removal of ALL our contact information, and any means of reselling to others.

Hi Team/[redacted]My apologiesI Will ensure this is taken care of and I apologize for the inconvinience. Thank you for bringing this to our notice Thanks[redacted]
Review: Pro Data was hired by [redacted] to provide:
The top 3,500 leads at our minimum $3,000 across Building service contractors and Commercial cleaning service contractors including two extra lists, the top 200 Floor Refinishers of concrete/wood floors and the top 200 window cleaning companies.
Every lead includes Contact name, Job title, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, fax number, website, employee size, revenue size, industry vertical, sic code and permission based Email address.
I have emailed them over 5 times requesting this to be resolved. Their telephone number no longer works so I cannot call and leave a message.Desired Settlement: We have not received the top 200 Floor Refinishers of concrete/wood floors or the top 200 window cleaning companies. The list provided did NOT include the promised information per each lead.
Review: The company had required fullpayment upfront before providing the leads list. Arranging payment to them was uncessarily complicated. They refused to talk with us via phone, not providing a phone number to reach them nor were phone numbers in their email signatures. All communications were performed via email only. When asked for references they provided us with a contact name and company name, which appears to be a business entity also owned/operated by ProData. Following the purchase and mailer, attempts were made via emails, research to obtain correct phone numbers (which were disconnected), the phone number on the website is also invalid, and reverse phone look up to conatct the company and our points of contacts. A significant number of names/addresses from the lists were invalid and undeliverable. The company was un-responsive when we reached out to resolve the matter and/or to get a refund.

Hi [redacted],
In reference to complaint number #[redacted]
Thank you for resending the complaint. I am trying to reach the customer and should be able to talk soon. As per our agreement I see we provide 85% guarantee and replace anything more than 15% bounces on the total 4,395 contacts acquired by the client.
Which makes us responsible for replacement for anything more than 660 contacts. However the customer sent an email saying they had 396 bounces which is already covered under our agreement terms(anything more than 660 contacts is where we replace)
There may be some confusion pertaining to this from the customer and we will reach out to them
We are under agreement terms so far but will certainly get to the customer and see how we can assist further
Thank you for bringing this to our notice and please keep me posted for any additional information

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,
Review: I purchased a list of approximately 15,000 anesthesiologists with email addresses, but only about 7,500 actually had valid email addresses. I have a report that lists every single bounced email with their contact information. In addition, a large number of these contacts included company names that nothing to do with anesthesia, such as financial, real-estate, café, family practice, psychiatry, radiology, etc. I was charged for each email address and paid for contacts that clearly are not anesthesiologists. The other problem is that I uploaded all the contacts into our sales database and now I am spending hours removing all the invalid contacts. I sent out approx. 1,000 emails each day and I was receiving 400 to 500 bounced emails per 1,000 emails. This percent is unacceptable and not at all what I was told during the sales process. I was told all the contacts and emails were validated. I assumed a small percent of the emails would bounce but I never expected 50%. I am very disappointed. On Aug 5, I sent my compliant via email to the sales rep and the contact who sent me the email list, [redacted], and no one ever responded to me or acted like they cared that I am an unhappy customer. This is not the kind of company that I would recommend to others. I have purchased anesthesia list in the past, but I never received a list this disappointing.Desired Settlement: Since I only received approx. 7,500 of the 15,000 emails that I purchased, I would like a partial refund of $2,000. In addition, a portion of the 7,500 emails are from businesses not related to anesthesia.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and I will be glad to provide the lists of bounced emails again. They were all included in my email a few weeks ago to [redacted]. Attached is an Excel spreadsheet with several workbooks listing the bounced email report by date. I emailed approximately 1,000 contacts per day, so the bounced list is separated by the date the emails were delivered.
Please let me know if you have any questions or need any further information.
Review: We purchased a mailing list of names as provided by Prodata that met our criteria. We were required to wire transfer or send a check. A check was sent and we were told that it would take 4 business days and the list would be sent to us. We sent several emails and followed that up with voice mails and we are getting no response.Desired Settlement: We sent a check and have not received the names. Numerous emails as well as phone calls go unanswered. We want the list or a refund.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and am not entirely happy with the response.
[redacted] mentions that his Data Team sent a downloadable version of the mailing list to me via email however I did not receive this. The only thing that I have received is an excel spread-sheet containing 4,017 of the 23,159 contacts that we paid for, and these contacts were supplied on Thursday evening for from [redacted].
I would like to know when the remaining 19,142 contact details will be provided, as almost a month has passed since we paid for the mailing list?
Had we known that it would take this long to receive the data and that there would be such a lack of communication from Prodata Group we would have used an alternative supplier.
Review: We were contacted by [redacted] regarding marketing mailing list sales. We enquired about lists of dietitians. He indicated that they had over 6000 dietitians, that the database was permission based, was updated every 45 days and would have a final quality check prior to provision. We agreed to purchase the list and paid by bank transfer, an amount of around $5000 AU. We sent an email out to the database a few days later and found that it contained very few dietitians and a whole lot of invalid email addresses. 5000 of the leads bounced. Many are clearly not dietitians addresses.
We have contacted [redacted] who has not responded.Desired Settlement: Refund of the entire payment for the database and we will agree not to use it at all in the future.

Response:
Hi Team,
We have delivered as per agreement and if there are concerns on the same. We have gone by the agreement and fixed
anything pertaining to our product. The client has our product and has used it and again has our revised product for perpetual usage. This is clearly a service completed from our end and I have constantly communicated this to Amanda on various occasions. We are very much in contact with the client and this is an attempt to get a free service out of us. We have taken responsibility and still open to serve anything pertaining to the product
We have series of emails exchanged with the client as a proof of effort to sort any concerns. Yet the client has been accusing of no communication.
Clearly we did not get those list of bounces when asked to rework on this project but still we went ahead and reworked to help this client. We have now delivered more than agreed to serve the client
Keep us posted for any additional information and we will always be open for any communication pertaining to what was agreed to deliver

Response:
I am rejecting this response because:
Prodata have included the following as their benefits and guarantee, their actions prove that they have no true connection to the industry and are incapable of supplying what they promise.
"Benefits-
Data Updating:
You will receive only active and VERIFIED opt-in email addresses as we update
our data on an interval of every 45 days and also re-verify it before we
deliver the list to you."
** We did not receive only active and VERIFIED opt-in email addresses as 5000 of them bounced. This has damaged our relationship with our email blast service and we have been banned from loading any replacement list on our system. We therefore have no use for any replacement and have no trust in this company's ability to replace considering that many of the emails on our original list were obviously not dietitians as per the description column - they were real estate agents and I'm sure if we contacted them they would acknowledge that they NEVER opted in to receive emails from a dietitian.
"Data Accuracy:
We guarantee 90% accuracy on email deliverability considering hard and soft
bounces and anything more than 10% Invalid emails or Bounce backs will be
replaced in 5 business days"
[redacted] They have failed on this guarantee of 90% accuracy and deliverability and we have the evidence that 5000 of 6400 addresses bounced. They have sent a replacement list however I had already informed them that no replacement would be acceptable and I very much doubt the replacement is acceptable. I have not opened it for fear of virus as per instruction from the police.
Quality: We only
provide opt in emails and our lists are CAN SPAM compliant."
[redacted]The email addresses that I sent to are guaranteed not to have opted in to my mailing and are therefore not CAN SPAM compliant.
This company is set up as a scam to take money from businesses. I'm sure you have other similar complaints. I thank you for your assistance.

Hi Team,
The file clearly is safe and an excel file going by attachment. As this is data we are not in a position to agree if its not copied already. I would still recommend to the client to open the file and get back to us for any further concern

Regards,
Review: Prodata Group contacted my client, [redacted] Architects, to provide a new business lead service (list of names for new business development). The client, unknowingly, engaged in the service and promptly submitted request for service and FULL payment of services ($3,500) by check on good faith. The client did not request a sample list to review before engaging the service (which should have been a good way to see how effective the service/business is). Many emails to the service/business were sent by my client requesting the list and there was no quick response. The list was to be provided within 10 days, but was not. It was sent approx. 6 weeks later. The entire list is bogus. The client has a pretty good list of existing contacts and we compared all of the contacts against the list Prodata provided and all the names/emails/titles were incorrect--contacts were either DEAD, or were not even associated with the business.
Subsequent emails, phone calls were never returned and there is no professional answering service, to Prodata resulted in failure to refund money in full. We even sent a link to a website to prove that their list was BOGUS against the correct list we had (we did not send our list, only a link to website of a business where you can find the CORRECT contacts).Desired Settlement: We would like this to resolved as soon as possible. We have all the backup emails and the list to prove Prodata Group provided a bogus service.
