In May of 2019 I found this computer repair place online. I went there because it is in the neighborhood. I went in to have my *** repaired after suddenly experiencing some power issues. I paid the $50.00 diagnostic fee and expected him to begin repairing after he told me the issue. I went in a few weeks later. He didn’t contact me Within that time but I went in on my own. The owner and repair technician (Anthony)said that he didn’t start because I didn’t pay for the service which is why he couldn’t order the parts. So I paid it off completely. A month went by still no contact or any updates, I called in and Anthony told me that he ordered the wrong part and that he would have to reorder the correct party and it would take 2 weeks to come and another to repair. For the next few months I would call and it would be the wrong part and waiting on another, over and over again. September comes and I go in because I need the computer for my sons school assignments but yet, it’s still not fixed. He explains that *** computers are hard and take time and that he’s still working on my computer and that he has to talk to *** techs to understand why the computer still isn’t powering on after he supposedly diagnosed it and knew that it could only be a particular problem but yet here we are 8 months on and still not fixed. I spoke to Him & told him how unprofessional & full of it he is to have my *** for 8 months tgat resulted in no repairs or communication. He tried blaminthe women who works for him but I explained he’s is the person I’ve been in contact with & that has been telling me what’s going on with my computer and that he’s also the only person to fix the computer so anything that’s not being repaired is his fault. I told him I no longer wanted his service and that I would be in to get my computer & my refund. He tried to give me my computer without my refund and told me that his business is slow and that he doesn’t have the money to give me and that I have to come back When he gets it.
I told her she will have the refund within 7 days. That was on 12/10/19. I will be giving her full refunding a few days.
On April 22, 2019 Proclaim Enterprises Computers, Mr Anthony H charged my Credit card for a service he did not preform . He first miss diagnosed a problem with a *** Computer , 1st He said the computer need a mother board , he said one price of 150 . He said he would call me when it was done. He never called I call his business 5 time before I got a replay , He said it would take one week to finish , now it has been 3 week before I was able to contact him , then he told me he ordered the wrong part he now said the part cost over 400.00 . I said I did not want it. Then I noticed he charged my Credit Card 189.00. I requested a refund and my computer back. I initial sent my computer to his business to have a battery installed and 2 memory stick , in new package, He did send the battery back and 2 memory back, they both were open I could not return them to *** , Battery Cost 75.00 Memory 100.00 . To this date August 19, 2019 have not receive refund
I have been in conversation with *** and in our conversation asked him could he give me some time to refund him. Th particulars concerning the repair were so confusing but anyway I decided to refund him his amount of $189. I have asked him could I send it in two parts and he agreed. I have already sent him $100 as promised. but now he has taken out a complaint which seems strange. as concerning the open items they have returned to him. we had to open them to put them in the machine. upon doing so we discovered the machine had other issues more than just a memory install. he told us he let his nephew work on the machine an afterwards it was not coming on so we determined it was the motherboard. He said he did not want that fixed.
it was mostly lack of communication on our part but I was in conversation with *** and although he was upset because of out slow response I assured him we were not trying to steal anything not cheat him. I will be giving him his second payment the week of 9/9/19 as discussed with him and as agreed. we had no conversation concerning any payment for the memory. it was retuned back to him. And as a matter of fact we gave him a loaner laptop which he never retuned back to us. I will double check that with my employees.
