Review: I scheduled an appointment with this office for March 27, 2014. It states in their online application process that my credit card would be charged 15 days after I scheduled the appointment and that $125 of the $475 charge would be non refundable as that would be for their service of providing lab orders. I phoned the office on February 18th and asked that my card NOT be charged until the week of my appointment. I was told that would not be a problem. On March 4th they CHARGED my card! I phoned their office on April 2nd and spoke with the business manager [redacted]. I asked for a full refund as I was severely inconvenienced by the $475.00 being removed from my account when I specifically asked that it not be and I did not visit there office, no lab orders have been used and no service has been provided. It really wasn't a conversation with **. [redacted], it was me listening to a monologue. He offered a refund of the $350.00 but never offered a full refund based on my inconvenience. At no time did he ever appear concerned for the inconvenience. I was never asked what they could do for me. Incidentally, I cancelled my appointment and will not reschedule with them. I had to interrupt **. [redacted] to speak and basically hung up on him as he wouldn't let me speak. On April 8th I called and spoke with Dr. [redacted]. I felt she needed to be aware of this situation. She was not aware of it and said she would research it and get back to me. She did call me back the same day. Unfortunately, it seems the culture she promotes in her office is one of no compassion and caring as she was not empathetic to the situation either and offered no remedies to the situation. I have never written a complaint such as this before but feel others need to be aware of this clinic and their lack of compassion especially when they have made and error.Desired Settlement: A full refund.

Please see our following comprehensive response to the complaint. In our eight years of doing business in the area, this is our first complaint and there is no validity to this complaint. Further, we are also waiting for the adjudication from the credit card company on the same issue of the 125 as she filed a dispute through that channel also and we have not received any communication back from our response to that one. Here we have a simple case of a patient changing their mind after part of a service has been rendered. Our policy is very clear, and we ensure it is understood up front. In this case, the patient does not dispute her understanding of the policy but wants an exception which was not granted. do not understand how this merits being considered a valid complaint. We would like to keep our record clean as it deserves to be.Please confirm receipt of this response.Regards,
