Pro Video misrepresented a TV they had for sale. Told me that it was a demo in their shop for 1 1/2 years old. I later learned the TV was 9 years old
On 10/18/19 I called Pro Video to diagnose a video issue I was having on my Samsung 65" Smart TV. They picked up my TV and advised it would cost $489 to fix. Or I could buy a 55" Samsung UHD Smart TV they had for $599+tax. I spoke with Lorraine S. and asked if it was a 4K. She said "No...it was better than a 4K with the latest technology". "Top of the line." I asked how old is the TV. She replied that it was a demo in their shop for 1 1/2 years. I asked to come by her shop to see the TV. She said no, as they were working out of their home. I agreed to buy their TV: Samsung 55" UHD Smart TV; Model number UN55D6050. Later that afternoon they delivered the TV and set it up in my home. I called Bill S.to ask if they accept VISA. He said "no". I paid $640.93 by check. Over that weekend I noticed there was no app for Amazon Prime. I tried to find a way to lead the app but failed. I called Bill on 10/21/19 who told me to go to Network and type in Amazon. There was no search button. On 10/22/19 I used Amazon's Firestick and that failed also. On 10/23/19 I called Samsung Tech Support and gave them the model number. The Tech told me this TV was manufactured in 2011 and that Amazon no longer supported this old model. I further found that other apps failed as their licenses had expired. I then called Lorraine to advise her to pick up this old TV and refund my purchase price. She called back and refused to refund my money and stated the invoice which I signed stated "NO REFUNDS". On 10/24/19 my wife sent Lorraine an email requesting a full refund and return of their TV. We have gotten no response. I went to their website and it states they take VISA. They are operating out of their home in Dupree Lakes Phase 2:

This is a non-response. The business will not admit it sold me a 9 year-old TV after representing it as a demo.
This business claims to have an A+ rating with the Revdex.com. Your website states this business in not accredited with the Revdex.com. This business registered with the state of Florida in 2017 as Pro Video TV Repair. What did they call their business prior to 2017? They claim to be in business since 1985.

The latest response from this business is totally irrelevant and deceitful. Who in their right mind would buy a 9 year-old TV??
Why is this business NOT accredited with the Revdex.com?
I have written 2 letters in response to Mr. complaint and stated everything necessary to support the facts and our opinion of this case. To sum up, he has a perfect working TV and still has a guarantee from us for repair. We feel we have done everything possible to satisfy this customer without success. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to state our response and close this case with the Revdex.com.
