I paid to have my lock changed months ago and just found out that the old key still works when the person I changed the lock from was able to still use their key to get into the apartment I had no reason to think to try the old key (although from now on I always will) before he left I still have a copy of the key on an old keyring and thought I would try it again after they broke in and sure enough if you jiggle it just a little bit - it unlocks the door This business puts it customers' safety on the line and have the worst customer service I had ever experienced The dispatcher on the phone would not stop talking and interrupted me while explaining the situation and that I would like them to at least send someone to come check out the situation, to which she told me that would not happen if I didn't pay to have the lock changed again Also this company does not take any form of payment other than cash for locksmith work, which was not mentioned to me ahead of time The work was also sloppy, the locksmith left screws loose and missing This business should be looked into on a deeper level
Review: I called this business because my apartment top lock broke this am 12/**/13The owner Viv answered the phone - I inquired about locks & prices I also asked if he took credit cards he said yes after the work was done he refused payment with American Express - the job was also done incorrectly the technician left screws loose & for the quoted price of $200 it's not a complete lock only the backing & cylinder I called him back to complaint he hung up the phone ... He should not be servicing peopleDesired Settlement: I feel like he didn't give me the service for the money I was also forced to use cash which wasn't in my budget but it was an emergency. The charge he quoted was $198 when it was complete the price went up to $216 & the technician had no change for the $20 bill
