Review: Hired this company on 2/**/14 to perform work on my basement. The total amount that we agreed on for the work was $6800 which would include his materials. The contract consisted of 8 points out of which he only completed 2. He then asked for more money which I was hesitant in giving him but he insisted that I have nothing to worry about which brought my total payment to $4500. That was the last time I saw him. He kept giving me excuses and telling me that he will send guys over "tomorrow" . It has been 10 months and he has yet to show up. The materials that he used are not the ones in the contract as well. I payed him $4500 for 3 days of work. Since then I hired another company which had to redo his work and I had to pay them $6500 to finish the job. Since it cost me a total of $11,000 to do the job that I was quoted $6,800 I would like the difference of $4,200 back. I offered him many options to make this right but he kept yelling at me which then evolved into him making threats.Desired Settlement: Since it cost me a total of $11,000 to do the job that I was quoted $6,800 I would like the difference of $4,200 back.
