I am writing in response to the above complaint filed with youI'm the owner of Pro Source Home ImprovementsI would like to give you a little background info regarding this transactionI personally wrote the estimate for Mr*** after meeting him at his property and talking about his fence
I contacted him approximately one week after sending him the quote and he said that he was not going to hire us due to financial reasonsAt that time I disposed of the file with all of the information and notes on our discussion as per our procedure.Around or weeks later I received a call from him stating he had changed his mind and wanted to move forward with the fenceThe only documentation we had on file was the electronic pdf file of the quote.You can see this quote/contract in attached files along with another sample quoteI've attached both for reference as to the wording of the contractTypically if we are handling the permit it will be stated in the first line of the contract and will read like this "Obtain necessary permits and call OUPS prior to diggingSome of our customers obtain the permits themselves and due to the wording we moved forward based on that.I've also looked through my emails and voicemails and can find no record of missed communications or messagesI will say that I run 90% of my business through my smart phone and I had to replace it a couple of months agoIt's possible that I missed something during the transition.At Pro Source we have always tried to exceed our customers expectations and we take pride in our workWe are willing to resolve this in the following manner:1) Contact city zoning regarding fence placement and codeWe will need a plot map provided by *** ***2) Obtain necessary permit3) Relocate fence as necessary to meet zoning requirements This work will be done at no cost to Mr***Please let me know if this is acceptable and we will make the arrangements
