We will have a representative in [redacted] for two days, either Wednesday and Thursday (June 3rd and 4th), or Thursday and Friday (June 4th and 5th) who will be able to stop by and take a look at the leak for Mr. [redacted].We are always more than willing to service our customers after the sale, and we have indeed looked at this leak for Mr. [redacted] before.  Mr. [redacted] is often "out of town" and/or difficult to schedule an appointment with.  Yes, we did speak about meeting with him last week and yes we did miss the appt.  When Mr. [redacted] called I profusely apologized for missing the appt, however he wasn't interested in anything other than demeaning me and my efforts to apologize.  We appreciate our customers and the livelihood that they bring for us, but I am unwilling to take verbal abuse from any customer over a small human error. From now on I would prefer to communicate only via written format.

I find offense that we are being accused of non communication with this customer since we were never contacted in regard to this "warping" issue that they have had with their siding for, what they are claiming, is quite some time.  The ONLY time I have been contacted by the [redacted] was a phone call the end of July by Mrs. [redacted], right after the wind storm.  We have never been informed of this issue, and were not even given a reasonable amount of time to respond to the client's concerns before they assumed that we didn't come take a look and called another contractor.  Additionally, there was never a follow up phone call on their part before they sent that contractor to inspect our work.  There was never a phone call to let us know that they had another contractor take a look at the siding and give us an opportunity to discuss it, just a report directly to the Revdex.com.  The packet I sent to them in the mail did come back to our office for not having enough postage, however that has been resent.I feel as though the contractor they sent to their house has agitated the customer as it is common practice for contractors to speak badly of another contractors work to try and make themselves sounds as a better option.  If the customer chooses to hire this contractor to do their additional work and refuses to work with us ever again in the future, that is their right.  However I still refuse to reduce the balance on their account as we did their project a very long time ago, with quality workmanship and materials and have held this balance for them, interest free for over a year now, letting them make small payments at their leisure, not even requiring a committed monthly payment plan. We are not a bank, but we are a professional construction business who has been working in this area for over 15 years with a high Revdex.com rating and we deserve to be paid for our work and not to have a disgruntled customer call any contractor available to get them upset with our abilities.  I would suggest the customer check to see if this new contractor has a Revdex.com account and what their rating is before they get to gun-ho to hire a new contractor based on their comments of our work.  I am requesting that the balance of their account be paid in full and then we will be happy to send a crew out to fix or replace and damaged siding, for FREE.
