Review: Got estimate for wall and new patio for $6500.00. Asked for estimate in writing. They showed up the next day and began removing old patio. Was told the cost would be $1500.00 more than originally stated. Once again asked for written contract, got only promise of one the next day. They put in new patio, not in the color stones I had ordered. He threatened to rip up patio and leave it. After heated discussion, he agreed to return the next day with stones I ordered. Still no contract. When work was completed he charged an additional $2000.00. Total was $10,000.00 minus %15 promised discount = $8500.00. Originally quoted $6500.00 minus %15 = $5525.00. I feel he took advantage of me for $2975.00 and I still didn't get the exact patio stone colors I was promised. Their PA license #[redacted].Desired Settlement: I simply want the $2975.00 overcharge returned to me. I realize since there was never any written contract (I trusted him to provide one after several requests) it is my word against his (his name was [redacted] - I believe he is the owners son). But I do want something on record to keep them from taking advantage of anyone else. Their PA license #[redacted].

Complaint Detail
After putting in a new patio, it became apparent that Pro-Pave severed our underground power line to our garage (the power was fine the day before they started work, and stopped working immediately after they completed job). We called an electrician who came over, checked everything out, and concluded that the power shortage was under the patio. I have contacted [redacted] several times to resolve this. Initially he said he would fix it (probably just to get me to go away), then refused to take responsibility for damaged power line, and now will not return my calls (again, he is probably hoping I just go away- which is probably what most people do and he knows this).
Desired Settlement
To settle this, I simply want him to fix what he broke (my damaged power line going from the house to the garage under the patio). I have gotten estimates from another mason and an electrician. I have mailed these estimates to [redacted] at Pro-Pave with his 3 choices:1. fix the damage himself, 2. pay for the other mason and electrician to fix the damage, or 3. I will take him to court to resolve this. He received the letter 10 days ago (it was sent postage receipt) and I have not heard back.
Desired Settlement: Other (requires explanation)
