I am responding to the complaint dated 8/10/15. *** *** did her nails on 8/10/All implements that are used in my salon are cleaned after every customerWe sterilize and disinfect after each useThis complainant already had acrylic on her nails when she came to the Salon***
proceeded to remove her prior acrylic nails, and her nail beds were thin*** sprayed alcohol on her nail beds after she removed the nailsThe client and *** decide since her nail beds were thin that *** would not put acrylic nails back on, but on put gel polish on her nails. No manicure was involved because *** told her she did not need it and no charge was applied. We do not use water in the gel process until the gel is curedIt is up to the client as to whether they wash their hands or not. Most Clients in receiving service look around, listen to conversations or carry on conversations with other clients getting their nails doneTherefore, her complaint about other laughing and talking on their phones is the normOur clients understand we are a friendly salon and have a cheerful atmosphere. This was the complainants first visit in and therefore it is understandable that she did not know of the atmosphere of our salonOur jobs require our full attention to every clientI am very sorry that the client was unhappy and I hope this information will clarify this issue

I paid $for the pedicure
I will refund the consumer a total of $65.00 (25.00 for the pedicure and $40 for her co-pay) I will be mailing her a check.
