Product distributed by Proline (Santeen drain opener) is not correctly labeled, and as a result damaged my sink when using the product.
On 3/17/20 I purchased Santeen drain opener and it damaged my sink. I attached a copy of my receipt and photos of the damaged sink. The company blew me off and attempted to get me to say via phone that I used the product inappropriately. After three weeks of trying to get a hold of someone with the ability to resolve my issue I received a poorly written letter I attached.
Attached are photos of the damage and a receipt of my purchase. I poured the Santeen drain opener in the drain and a small portion got onto my composite granite sink resulting in the surface of the sink being damaged. I have used different drain openers throughout my life and have never had a problem with them discoloring/damaging the surface of any sink. I read the instructions on how to use the product and used it in accordance with the manufactures recommended guidelines. As a result of using this product the sink is damaged and the photos attached reflect the sink after the Santeen drain opener was used. The company e-mailed me back after 3 weeks from my original complaint stating that they would not compensate me for their product they distribute. In the e-mail were assumptions made by the GM of Proline. I feel as if I deserve my sink gets replaced and ALL Santeen products come off the shelves of stores until they are properly labeled.

First to clarify, the consumer complaint was made referencing Pro Line Products as the manufacturer of the product that consumer was referencing. That is not correct, Pro Line Chemical & Plastics is the manufacturer of the product. Both companies are privately owned by the same individual, but are completely separate operating companies. Regarding the consumer complaint, it was settled today with agreement between the consumer and Pro Line Chemical & Plastics. There was a cash reimbursement that was agreed on with the consumer to address the complaint. In exchange for the reimbursement, the consumer has also agreed to repeal their complaint with Revdex.com. Both the consumer and Pro Line Chemical & Plastics agree this matter is resolved to each other's satisfaction on 4/28/2020.
The above mentioned reference number between myself and Proline Products has been resolved fairly. I would request that the complaint be dropped as I have received payment from Proline Products for the complaint submitted. The previously e-mail address in which I filed the complaint was submitted under e-mail address ***@yahoo.com.

I purchased flow-easy drain opener from the local hardware store. The product is advertised that it is safe on your plumbing fixtures and pipes.
I used this product exactly as the directions were stated on the bottle under "directions".
This product cracked my porcelain toilet on both the inside and outside of the bowl which caused a water leak.
I contacted the company within the next day or two and told them of the issue I had encountered. I was told that my information was bring forwarded to management where they could further assist me and come up with a solution to my problem. I was told I would hear back soon. ...
I waited about 4-5 days and called back. I was told that management was forget looking into the matter and was then asked for a receipt for the replacement toilet and seal which costed approximately $210. I emailed over all my documentation and was told that was all they needed and someone would get back to me.
I waited another week. No response so I called back.
This time the same receptionist told me her boss has been out of the office as he travels allot but she will again email him about the matter and he would get back to me. I waited about another 5-6 days and still no reply.
I called back. This time I was told that they needed my address because they were going to send me a check for the cost of the toilet and supplies. I waited over a week and had not received the check. I called back and again the same receptionist told me she would reach out to accounting and see if the check was mailed yet because again, the manager was out. She came back on the line and said that accounting can't handle this reimbursement and it needed to be completed by the manager. She said she would put another email to the manager and she would call me back personally once she heard back. It's been almost 2 weeks later and I've still heard nothing and seen no check.
Product_Or_Service: Flow easy drain opener
Repair I would like the promise reimbursement money for the toilet along with an apology and an extra $50 for my troubles in dealing with weeks of on going stress.

The customer was reimbursed in entirety by company check for the total amount initially requested. The check along with a letter from the General Manager was sent on 1/2/2020. The company considers this claim and issue closed and the customer request has been satisfied.
