Pro Level Construction

I gave the owner and his assistant a total amount of $1600 in cash (I have a receipt) for a deposit for renting a house in Granite City. We were to move in by November 1. We went to the house several times to check on work. Some work was getting done, but not a lot. When my fiance went up to the house, the people there told her that they owned the house, not ProLevel. We have called the number but am not able to leave a message. When the owner calls me back, he doesn't have time to talk to me, he always seems in a rush. I have asked him when I'm going to get my money back and he gives me the runaround. So now I am out $1600 and I don't have a place to live.
