Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # [redacted] Please add your rejection comments below Pro Design's response continues to be unacceptable Let's look at the facts I had to cut an additional check for the electrical for $ I then I had to pay more than that to finish the electrical after Pro Design quit I had to cut an additional check for $for additional plumbing, which I have to pay again because Pro Design quit I had to cut an additional check for gutters for $500, which leak, so I have to pay to have those fixed I paid $700+ to install garage doors, but they could not be properly weather sealed because the aluminum is not wrapped properly, so I have to pay more to have that fixed In order to install the windows, Pro Design ruined the framing around the window, but did not replace the framing, so I have to pay to fix that Despite Pro Design's claim that the height of the floor is proper, everyone who has come in to check things out has said otherwise (again, Pro Design will claim we wanted tile because our wish of vinyl was never written down despite my saying 8+ times we were putting in vinyl), so I have to pay to correct that issue Again, the door framing was done incorrectly, so we have to fix that One of the gutters in the back was cut off by the addition and the down spout was removed and never replaced, so I have to pay to fix that A door frame in the kitchen was removed because we were told we could make the opening bigger, but that was not possible, so I have to pay to fix the destroyed frame (as a note: Pro Design keeps mentioning that an a work order for additional work was not filled in for the flooring, but no work order was put in for this door frame) A screen was ruined by the siding guys, so we have to fix that issue I paid for plastering, but the work done had to have come in $lower than what I paid, but I did not get that money back All of those issues (I'm sure I missed more) result in my asking for money backAs an additional comment, Pro Design complained about the dumpster having additional hollow core doors in it Those doors were leaning against the outside of the dumpster, presumably to hold the tarps down They were not from my house, but I did come home the other day and one of Pro Design's subcontractors was putting additional stuff in the dumpster I put those in the dumpster because they were not mine and last time a dumpster was removed they did not take the time to remove the pallets, etc, leaning against the dumpster and I did not want the same thing to occur After quitting it also took two weeks to remove the dumpster Regards, [redacted]
The floor is poured at the proper height for tile the opening was requested to make it as large as possible and we did .anyone can pick out after the fact and complain about things that are really not I find this system very unfriendly and I find it very difficult to respond I have all the copies of all the change work orders the request for the money that they owe me is ridiculous that money that's left is less far less than what it would cost to finish the project

Pro Design's response continues to be unacceptable. Let's look at the facts. I had to cut an additional check for the electrical for $1000. I then I had to pay more than that to finish the electrical after Pro Design quit. I had to cut an additional check for $2200 for additional plumbing, which I have to pay again because Pro Design quit. I had to cut an additional check for gutters for $500, which leak, so I have to pay to have those fixed. I paid $700+ to install garage doors, but they could not be properly weather sealed because the aluminum is not wrapped properly, so I have to pay more to have that fixed. In order to install the windows, Pro Design ruined the framing around the window, but did not replace the framing, so I have to pay to fix that. Despite Pro Design's claim that the height of the floor is proper, everyone who has come in to check things out has said otherwise (again, Pro Design will claim we wanted tile because our wish of vinyl was never written down despite my saying 8+ times we were putting in vinyl), so I have to pay to correct that issue. Again, the door framing was done incorrectly, so we have to fix that. One of the gutters in the back was cut off by the addition and the down spout was removed and never replaced, so I have to pay to fix that. A door frame in the kitchen was removed because we were told we could make the opening bigger, but that was not possible, so I have to pay to fix the destroyed frame (as a note: Pro Design keeps mentioning that an a work order for additional work was not filled in for the flooring, but no work order was put in for this door frame). A screen was ruined by the siding guys, so we have to fix that issue. I paid for plastering, but the work done had to have come in $2000 lower than what I paid, but I did not get that money back. All of those issues (I'm sure I missed more) result in my asking for money back. As an additional comment, Pro Design complained about the dumpster having additional hollow core doors in it. Those doors were leaning against the outside of the dumpster, presumably to hold the tarps down. They were not from my house, but I did come home the other day and one of Pro Design's subcontractors was putting additional stuff in the dumpster. I put those in the dumpster because they were not mine and last time a dumpster was removed they did not take the time to remove the pallets, etc, leaning against the dumpster and I did not want the same thing to occur. After quitting it also took two weeks to remove the dumpster.

Tell us why here...The client owes me $8,000 he is asking for I have copies of all the additional work orders... to which he signed there is not $8,000 left to do .. The issue is the client [redacted] demanded...
at the final stage of construction to change from tile floor to vinyl flooring and demanded I raise the concrete floor for it was poured lower for a tile floor.. client wanted me to do this additional work for free .. refused to sign an additional work order ... There is no balance due owner ,.. $8,000 is the final payment due if we were to completed this job what work left to complete according to the original contract and is far less than $8,000 to complete however it is my understanding he hire another contractor and is doing additional remodeling over and above our contract, namely what I know of demo his bathroom tile floor, kitchen floor installing vinyl flooring.. ...... note when removing our dumpster 2-11- 2016 we found additional interior solid core doors that were thrown on top of our dumpster lying on the blue tarp cover! Work has been inspected rough plumbing Electrical plus framing siding roofing has been signed off by building dept. ...if needed copies of contract and all change work orders if needed i will be happy to send! Final NOTE; When customer demands changes & additional work and refuses to sign an additional change work order it time for me to leave. the Job... ;

Pro Design did not write down information that was discussed at the beginning of the project and mentioned numerous times throughout the project. When it came down to the final parts of the project various areas had been under budget, but Pro Design would not tell me how much under budget. Because of this, I expected additional work to be done. In addition, now that Pro Design has quit the job I have had other people out to finish the job and they have commented on the poor work that was done. The floor was poured too low (even if it were for tile that Pro Design decided to write down instead of vinyl), one door was installed too low and would hit the new floor, the closet door opening was too small, the opening to the laundry room was too big, etc. Because of the under budget aspects of the project where Pro Design in essence stole money from me along with the extra money that was requested and that I have had to pay on top of other expenses again and with the errors made in construction, I want $8000 to cover these costs.
