Privateer Place

Review: The apartment that I was renting had mold growing out of the vents, walls that were partially painted, door knob that did not lock, broken drawer on my dresser, broken oven, broken counter tops, and a large red stain on the carpet. I requested to have these items fixed but maintenance was never to be seen in the year that my leased covered. Before moving out I vacuumed,bleached the entire bathroom to the best of my ability leaving it better then when I first moved in. A week later I see that my security deposit of two hundred and fifty dollars was taken and that I still owed them money. After months of trying to contact [redacted],the manager, she mailed me back saying that there was a poster left on my wall that would explain the security deposit that was taken, even though the one poster I had was removed. I refused to pay and received a email saying that the forty two ninety that I owed would soon be going into the collection process and if I wanted to resolve my issue to call or [redacted]. I attempted to call the number only to find that it was disconnected. Ms. [redacted] refused to explain the taken security deposit or to even set a meeting to discuss the charges.Desired Settlement: I would like my remaining balance (42.90) charged to my security deposit(250) and the remaining balanced returned to me (207.10). At the least I would like to see a itemized list of how my security deposit (250) was spent on cleaning the room.
