We had a drainage issue with our 10 year old built in Miele dishwasher. Priority Appliances Services were able to schedule a house call within 5 business days. I thought that the problem was something major but it turned out that the gaskets on inlet and outlet valves had corroded away over time causing malfunction of drainage system due to internal leakage. I did not get an estimate of the charges ahead of repair but in the end the appliance was expertly fixed with new parts installed. The costs were $110 for call out and $80 for 1 hour labour with parts and taxes bill came to $279. The labour could have been less but I had stupidly pushed on the temperature probe(did not know what it was) in my attempt to trouble shoot the problems and the probe ended up being displaced and needed to pull out the machine to re-position the errant probe which ended costing added time labour as the origional problem probably could have been solved in under half hour. I would definitely use Ramin and Priority again and would have no hesitation recommending them.
I have a 20+ year old Thermadore double wall oven. It has always worked amazingly until recently when the lower oven would only heat up to about 200 degrees F. I called Priority but the earliest appointment was in a week's time. I decided to call another company ([redacted]) and they came that same day. The [redacted] Technician stuck a thermostat in the lower oven and confirmed that it only heated up to 200 degrees and then informed me that since the oven is old parts are no longer available for it and charged me $120 for the service call. He didn't check any thing else and said he thought it was a thermostat issue and suggested I purchase two new thermostats to try but there was no guarantee. Then he changed his mind and said that the thermostats wouldn't fir anyways so just pay the service call. Anyways, priority Appliances called me back today because I had made a tentative appointment with them in case I couldn't get someone to come look at my oven. Well over the phone, a technician was able to accurately diagnose that it sounded like a fuse issue and suspected that the oven was firing on 120 volts as opposed to 240 volts. He suggested I look at the fuse box for the oven unit which should be located somewhere close. Sure enough, the fuse box was on top of the oven and one of the switches was turned off. I turned the switch on and voila my oven works like a charm. Priority Appliances did not even charge me for helping me fix my oven.Thank you Priority Appliances!
