Best of the best of printers that can make labels and stickers over night. I'm very satisfied with their work ethic, good low prices for custom printed stickers in a rush and the customer service is on par.
I'll be recommending them to all the other vendors that want to customize their packaging on products they sell. Print4mat is the best.
On June 15, 2015 I called "Print4Mat" regarding a 3'x 8' banner that was advertised. I spoke with [redacted] informing him I needed a banner in which the message could be read from approx 1/4 mile. He wasn't sure if that size banner would work, so he consulted a female employee who told him that it would be visible from that distance. I believe the female employee was the owner, [redacted]. I also inquired about the best color choices for the banner and lettering. [redacted] suggested a red banner with white lettering. Trusting their expertise I proceeded with the order. I received a proof via email from [redacted]. The proof had a white background and red lettering. I responded and informed him of the error. I asked him which would be best to be seen at 1/4 mile. [redacted] apologized and agreed that the red background and white lettering was the best combination. I was sent a corrected proof and proceeded with the order based on their recommendations.I picked up the banner on June 19th and upon seeing the completed product, asked once again, if it would be readable at 1/4 mile. They assured me it would. I installed the banner over the weekend and had several people attempt to read it from the required distance but it could not be done. The red appeared more brownish at a distance and the lettering was far too small.I called "Print4Mat" on June 22nd on two separate occasions requesting to speak to a manager but each time I was only allowed to talk to the employee who answered. I spoke with [redacted] and [redacted], explaining to both of them that the banner was unreadable at the distance I requested. They both told me because I approved the cost and "artwork" they could do nothing for me. I was eventually contacted by the owner [redacted] via email. She did not contact me to offer a resolution to the situation, but instead to blame me for it and accuse me of trying to get something for free. "Print4Mat" and the owner [redacted] don't take responsibility for anything they say. Their motto is... "You approved it, it's your fault!"Product_Or_Service: 3FT X 8FT Banner + Graphic Design serviceOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementTheir resolution was to offer a banner with 24 inch letters (original was 18) at an additional cost of $121 after a store discount. Before accepting I decided to research the visibility of letters at distances and discovered that to be visible at 1/4 mile the lettering would have to be over 30 inches high. So "Print4Mat" was offering me another banner that would NOT be readable at the requested distance. I brought this to their attention and they revoked the discount and stopped working with me.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted]Contact Phone: 775-853-0444Contact Email: [redacted]PRINT4MAT IS THE LOWEST PRICE LEADER IN PRINTING SIGNS AND GRAPHICS AND WE STRIVE TO ASSIST EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITIES WITH RESPECT AND COURTESY, AND SO FAR HAS BEEN EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL IN OUR WORKMANSHIP. IT IS UNFORTUNATE THAT WE CANNOT ASSIST [redacted] ANY FURTHER AS IT IS MADE VERY CLEAR TO US THAT HER GOAL IS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR COMPANY, ITS PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AND THAT HER REQUEST AND DEMAND IS UNREASONABLE. THE FACTS TO THIS MATTER WILL BE ENUMERATED BELOW.ON JUNE 15, 2015 [redacted] CALLED OUR STORE FROM A PROMOTION WE ARE RUNNING FOR A 3FT X 8FT FULL COLOR BANNER FOR $39. AN ESTIMATE QUOTATION NUMBER [redacted] WAS GENERATED AND EMAILED TO [redacted] WITH THE JOB SPEC REQUESTED BY HER. EACH LINE ON THE ESTIMATE OUTLINES THE ENTIRE ORDER. WE HAVE A PRINT OUT THAT IS AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW.ON JUNE 16, 2015 AT APPROXIMATELY 10:39AM WE RECEIVED AN EMAIL FROM [redacted] APPROVING THE QUOTE FOR THE 3FT X 8FT BANNER, ESTIMATE NUMBER [redacted]. SHE THEN CALLED US WITH PAYMENT INFORMATION TO PROCESS HER ORDER.ON JUNE 16 AT APPROXIMATELY 3PM AN ARTWORK PROOF DRAFT_1 WAS EMAILED TO THE CUSTOMER FOR REVIEW. [redacted] REQUESTED SOME CHANGES TO THE COLOR OF THE BANNER.ON JUNE 16, 2015 AT 1:50PM A SECOND DRAFT FOR THE BANNER WAS EMAILED TO THE CUSTOMER FOR REVIEW. THIS SECOND PROOF WAS WITH THE RED BACKGROUND AND WHITE TEXT PER THE CUSTOMERS REQUESTON JUNE 18, 2015 AT APPROXIMATELY 10AM [redacted] EMAILED US AN APPROVAL TO PROCEED WITH PRINTING THE 3FT X 8FT BANNER ARTWORK PROOF DRAFT 2THIS BANNER WAS PRINTED AND FINISHED THAT SAME DAY ON JUNE 18, 2015[redacted] WAS NOTIFIED OF THE COMPLETION OF HER BANNER AND SHE APPEARED IN OUR STORE AT APPROXIMATELY 10:46 AM ON FRIDAY JUNE 19, 2015 TO PICK UP THE BANNER.IT IS OUR STORE POLICY TO SHOW THE CUSTOMER THE COMPLETED JOB AND HAVE HER SIGN OFF THAT THE ORDER IS COMPLETED TO SATISFACTORY AND PICKED UP BY THE CUSTOMER.[redacted] DID TAKE THE BANNER AND EXPRESSED NO GRIEVANCES NOR COMPLAINTS AT THE TIME SHE WAS SHOWN THE COMPLETED BANNER IN FULL.ON JUNE 22, 2015 [redacted] CONTACTED OUR STORE AND BY HER OWN ADMISSION SPOKE WITH [redacted], WHO IS OUR GENERAL MANAGER.[redacted] EXPRESSED AND COMPLAINED THAT THE 3FT X 8FT BANNER SHE ORDERED, APPROVED, AND PICKED UP AS SATISFACTORY WAS NOT BIG ENOUGH FOR PEOPLE TO SEE FROM A 1/4 (QUARTER) OF A MILE.[redacted] EXPLAINED TO [redacted] THAT A QUARTER 1/4 MILE IS A SIGNIFICANT DISTANCE FOR VISIBILITY AND THAT EVEN SOME BILLBOARDS WHICH ARE 14FT IN HEIGHT X 48FT WIDE ARE NOT VISIBLE FROM A QUARTER OF A MILE. [redacted] WANTED A BIGGER BANNER, BUT WANTED IT FOR FREE. THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE. [redacted] STATED TO [redacted] THAT SHE WANTED A NEW BANNER WITH TEXT LETTERS TO REFLECT 36" IN HEIGHT. WHEN THE GRAPHIC DESIGNER CONNOR LAID OUT THIS REQUEST, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT A 7FT X 15FT BANNER IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH LETTERS BEING 36" IN HEIGHT WITH HER DESIGN CONTENTS. [redacted] STATED THAT A 7FT X 15FT BANNER WAS TOO BIG FOR HER FENCE AND THEREFORE ANOTHER OPTION OF 24" LETTERS IN HEIGHT WAS PROVIDED TO [redacted] EXPLAINING THAT A 4.5FT X 12FT BANNER WOULD ALLOW FOR 24" HIGH LETTERS. A QUOTE WAS THEN GENERATED AND SENT TO [redacted] FOR REVIEW FOR HER NEW REQUEST.[redacted] REVIEWED THE ESTIMATE WHICH WAS GIVEN TO HER AT THE LOWEST PRICE POSSIBLE ALONG WITH A COURTESY STORE DISCOUNT OF $63 TO ASSIST HER OBJECTIVE.SHE REVIEWED HER ESTIMATE E-2878 FOR THE 4.5FT X 12FT BANNER.[redacted] THEN EMAILED THE FOLLOWING DAY CITING THAT SHE NOW WANTED 2 NEW BANNERS 3FT X 8FT, WHICH LITERALLY BLEW OUR MINDS AS THAT SIZE BANNER IS WHAT SHE ORIGINALLY ORDERED AND IS CURRENTLY COMPLAINING ABOUT.BUT THE WORSE AND MOST UNFAIR PART IS THAT SHE WANTED THE NEW BANNERS 3FT X 8FT FOR FREE.SHE IS COMPLAINING THAT SHE ORDERED A 3FT X 8FT BANNER AND THAT IT IS OUR FAULT IT ISNT BIG ENOUGH FOR PEOPLE TO SEE FROM 1/4 (QUARTER OF A MILE)...AND NOW WANTS TWO NEW 3FT X 8FT BANNER, WHICH IS THE EXACT SIZE SHE IS COMPLAINING ABOUT. WE HAVE NO PROBLEM ASSISTING HER AND GIVING HER SOME COURTESY STORE DISCOUNT, BUT WE DO WORK VERY HARD AND IT IS UNFAIR AND UNJUST FOR US TO ALLOW [redacted] TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OR DEFRAUD US, PRINT4MAT, ITS AGENTS AND EMPLOYEES OF OUR MATERIALS AND LABOR.OUR GENERAL MANAGER ATTEMPTED TO ASSIST [redacted] BY GIVING HER A GENEROUS STORE DISCOUNT OF 30%, BUT NOTHING WAS GOOD ENOUGH. AFTER CAREFUL REVIEW OF HER ORDER TO ITS ENTIRETY, WE SAW THAT PRINT4MAT, ITS EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR REPRESENTATIVES MADE NO ERROR IN PROVIDING [redacted] OUR PRODUCT AND SERVICES. IF PRINT4MAT MADE ANY MISTAKES OR ERRORS, WE OWN IT AND WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING IMMEDIATE AND EFFECTIVE STEPS TO RESOLVE THE MATTER WITH OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS.IN [redacted]'S CASE, IT IS VERY CLEAR TO US THAT NO MATTER WHAT WE DO, WE CANNOT APPEASE HER UNLESS WE PRINT HER 2 NEW BANNERS FOR FREE.AFTER CAREFUL AND CONSIDERABLE THINKING, WE WOULD RATHER PART WAYS WITH THIS CUSTOMER THAN ALLOW HER TO DEFRAUD US OR TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR HARD WORK. WE DELIVERED EVERYTHING AS PROMISED AND WE DO HAVE ALL DOCUMENTATION AND EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT OUR OFFICIAL STANDING.RESPECTFULLY SUBMITTED[redacted]PRINT4MAT, LLC775-853-0444Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I do NOT and CANNOT accept the response from Print4Mat as it contains a number of inaccuracies. The most egregious of which is that I was attempting to get 2 free banners. I only attempted to get what I was promised, which was my message readable from the distance I needed.1) My goal and only request was to have a banner that could be read from a 1/4 mile distance. I discussed this on the phone with multiple employees and it is referenced multiple times in the email correspondence I provided as well.2) I made my selection of banner size, text size and message (artwork), and color choices all based on recommendations from Print4Mat employees. I stated multiple times that my only objective was to have a banner that could be read at 1/4 mile distance. Print4Mat refuses to acknowledge or stand by their recommendations.3) After some discussion about my complaint, I was offered a store discount of $63 off of a larger banner. The banner that was quoted would have 24 inch lettering. Assuming the banner would meet my needs; this seemed like a fair resolution. I agreed to have a quote for the larger banner.4) After receiving the quote, I decided to research letter visibility since Print4Mat had already demonstrated they're lack of expertise on the subject with their original recommendations being so woefully insufficient. I did not want to pay for a 2nd banner that wouldn't meet my needs. I discovered that it would require letters over 30 inches in height to approach the distance I wanted it to be readable.5) Since the banner with the 24 inch lettering would not be sufficient, I responded to the quote with my findings and asked to split my message onto two 3x8 ft. banners, so the lettering could be close to a full 3 ft. high. I wanted to apply the $63 discount to a new quote and pay the difference. I even offered to return the original banner that didn't meet my needs. At no time did I request that I be given the two new banners for free or anything else for free.6) Prin4Mat refused to quote the new banners and told me that the discount was only for the larger banner, not any other products. So despite my explanation about the insufficient lettering size on that banner, they did not want to quote the work to do the job properly. The owner emailed me to blame the situation on me and accuse me of trying to get free product. It's a shame that a business that specializes in printing and making banners is so ill informed on the science of what makes a message visible. I trusted their recommendations and ended up with a product that didn't meet my needs. And when I expressed dissatisfaction I was blamed for approving the printing. Perhaps if the owner, [redacted], communication skills were better she would have understood I was looking for a fair resolution, not free work from her staff. And maybe a simple request to do the job right wouldn't have "literally blown her mind."
On around Aug. 1, 2015, I ordered and paid for 7 tee-shirts from Print4mat. These tee-shirts were for the "[redacted]" event that took place at the end of Aug. 2015. The tee-shirts did not make it for the event. When I returned home after the event, I called Print4mat and spoke to the headmistress [redacted], to find out what happened to the tee-shirts and to get a refund. She assured me that she would give me the refund but not right then, with no explanation as to why I wasn't getting my money back right away. I have since then called Print4mat almost every other week and still have not received any money back. When I call and I speak to her, she tells me the exact same thing that she has already told me. And when I talk to other employees there, they tell me that they will give the message to the boss and have her call me back. They never call me back and she still has not given me my refund. And it is not because they can not get a hold of me. They have all my information so there is no excuse for this. I think I have been patient long enough and this needs to be addressed. I have no product for what I paid for in advance and in full, so their is no reasonable excuse as to why they are holding my money. This is not good customer service and they need to make things right.Product_Or_Service: White tee-shirts 4 Males, 3 FemalesDesired SettlementThey need to pay me back 192.90 ASAP. They should be held accountable for making me wait this long and going through so much for something that was totally their fault. As well as lying to me when it was brought to their attention more than once and told that I would be getting a refund in full.Business Response UPON CAREFUL REVIEW OF [redacted] CLAIM, I FOUND THE FOLLOWING FACTSINVOICE #[redacted] IN THE AMOUNT OF $192 FOR GRAPHICS DESIGN SERVICE AND PRINTED WHITE T-SHIRTS WAS COMPLETED AND RECEIVED BY [redacted] WELL OVER 12 MONTHS AGO.THIS JOB TICKET IS CLOSED OUT. THE ONLY OTHER JOB TICKET HE HAD WITH OUR COMPANY WAS INVOICE #[redacted] FOR GRAPHICS DESIGN SERVICES AND CUSTOM PRINTED STICKERS, WHICH ALSO SHOWS A JOB COMPLETION STATUS AND BEING RECEIVED BY THE CUSTOMER [redacted].HIS CLAIM ABOUT A REFUND IS ERRONEOUS AND I BELIEVE HE MIGHT BE CONFUSING OTHER QUOTES HE RECEIVED AS BEING A LIVE ORDER. PRINT4MAT'S POLICY IS TO CREATE A WRITTEN ESTIMATE FOR EACH REQUEST AND ONCE THAT QUOTE IS APPROVED, WE CONVERT IT INTO A REAL LIVE JOB TICKET. I FOUND 4 ESTIMATES IN TOTAL FOR OTHER ORDERS FOR SHIRTS, STICKERS, BURNING MAN DECALS, AND BANNERS- BUT ALL OF THESE ARE ESTIMATES AND NO LIVE ORDER.THE TWO ORDERS THAT HE DID PROCEED WITH WERE COMPLETED AND CONCLUDED SINCE 2015THERE WERE NO PHONE CALLS OR EMAILS TO MY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS MATTER IN QUESTION FROM [redacted].ATTACHED TO THIS RESPONSE YOU WILL FIND A COPY OF HIS CLOSED OUT INVOICES AND COPIES OF ARTWORK FILES THAT WERE CREATED AND APPROVED BY [redacted]Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)I read the response from Print4mat and was not surprised with her response. This is typical of someone that didn't want to refund my money from the get go. She is right to say that the invoices were signed by me because I signed them when I placed the order and paid for it. I never received the tee shirts that I paid $192.00 for in advance and the signature she is claiming I signed for was accepting the order that was placed. So it would be fair to say that she is the one that is confused not me. The other invoice for the Burning Man stickers I received so that one is complete. And the reason of the open invoices is because she wasn't going to give me the price that we agreed to and I wasn't willing to pay the higher prices. She is also completely wrong about me not contacting her about my refund. She had no intentions of refunding my money from the get go, so of course she never intended to return my call. She probably thought that I would give up and let this go. She has handled this issue very unprofessional and has demonstrated the worst customer service skills I have ever experienced. For someone who is in the position that she is with this company, and tells her customer a week before the deadline for the invoice, that there is a problem and she couldnt guarantee that the tee shirts would be finished in time, shows very poor managment skills and should be fired. And to make matters even worse, she thinks that it is totally exceptable to tell the customer that she will refund the money but not at the time it was requested. And then blows off the customer completely, like it was nothing, tells a lot about this person. The fact remains that I was never refunded for the tee shirts and I am no longer willing to let this go. I have contacted my attorney and we plan on suing this company in small claims.
