An unscrupulous doctor in the spa on the Star Princess pressured my sick wife into purchasing nearly $1200 of spa products when all my wife wanted was acupuncture therapy for severe pain. I returned the products to the spa company when they arrived and have waited a month-and-half to receive a paper check (which I still don't have) because Princess Cruises refuses to refund my credit card. They have a policy of creating consolidated statements for the cruise which includes vendor products and services. This policy of theirs creates an unnecessary level of difficulty in getting a refund particularly when Princess won't refund my credit card.
This has been eye-opening. If they can't handle a minor incident like this (minor for them, a pain in the neck for me), then why should I trust them to handle a major incident involving my family's safety on a cruise. Never sailing with Princess again.
