correspondence dated February 17, 2015 regarding [redacted]. We have reviewed your correspondence and appreciate the opportunity to respond. [redacted] hired the firm in May of 2014 and as a courtesy the law firm extended her a payment plan of $230 a month towards the flat fee retainer of $1,500. She made two payments of $230 to the firm for the months of May and June 2014. During this time a significant amount of work was performed on her file. She submitted documents for our review, and we responded to the client’s calls as well as creditor inquiries. As late as August 2014 the client contacted us to include her vehicle in the bankruptcy. There were no payments made by the client after June of 2014 but as a courtesy we still continued to work with the client. November 2104 her file was put on hold due to nonpayment and client was advised that we could no longer continue to work on her file or represent her until she became current on her payments. Client failed to make any further payment and Prince Law disengaged representation. However, due to her extremely personal hardship, Prince Law has agreed to a $230 refund as a courtesy which has been processed and mailed to the client. All the bestDavid P[redacted]

[redacted]Apr 22 (7 days ago)to me Another day has passed and still no refund I have called and left several messages with Megan which is the Lady that told me a check has been sent out,and she dosent call me back. This is why I contacted you to begin with because these people dont do what they say their going to do.They have even told Revdex.com that they sent a check out and they have not sent a check out.The last time I spoke with Megan was 4-13-15 and she said she mailed a check out on 4-10-15.I called the post office here in Moulton and they told me it only takes 3 days to get mail from Florida. So apperantly no check was sent it has been 12 days.

I can't get a response about my house mortgage from Margaret Evens who was in charge of my bankruptcy, I need a response.
Review: I filed my original complaint against the company in Florida since that is where they are located on October 17th 2014. My case # [redacted] was closed with them and transfered to this Revdex.com due to the company being liscensed there? I have not heard anything from your Revdex.com after numerous calls and emails. So I am now filing my complaint again through here.
The company did not provide any services to me. They are refusing the return the money that I paid for said services.
I was refered to Prince Law through my employers employee assistance program (which I will be making aware of this experience as well). I originally paid the 250 $ retainer. During this time I was put on bedrest due to pregnancy complications. I was unable to continue with the bankrupcy process at that time. This was in the fall of 2013. After my daughter was born I contact them to start the process again. On September 9th I signed another retainer to start the process again and made a payment of 800$ with my original 250& totaling 1050. Shorty after my 9 month old daughter was diagnosed with Enterovirus and was hospitalized for several weeks. I contacted Prince Law on 10/13/2014 to advise them that I am not in a place that I am able to continue this bankrupcy process, thinking I was doing them a courtesy as my proper attention to this was not availible. I can not and do not want to continue any business at this time or in the future. After speaking with 2 very rude customer service reps I was told that my request for a refund had been submitted to a refund team? I asked several times to speak with a supervisor and was told she was on vacation and there was no one else I could speak with. After calling back yet again I was placed on hold for a very long time and was told that she had to "interupt their meeting" to have them tell me that they will not be issuing me any type of refund but, I could continue the bankrupcy process with them if I would like. I was told in the retainer that I "signed" it states that they will not issue a refund after 15 days. However the retainer process is VERY misleading. It is through an application that takes you straight through the paper work ONLY to the signature spots. This information was withheld from me until I decided to not continue this process. I have paid this company a total of 1050$ and NOTHING has been done as far as services on their part. No documents have been processed or sent. They have not worked with myself or any of my debt collectors. I am in an extreme hardship due to my health and now the health of my 9 month daughter. I understand if the original 250 cannot be refunded however I paid 800 less than 30 days ago for a service that was never provided. All I have received is terribly rude customer service and now am out a LOT of money for nothing. Since my attempts of speaking with the company have only caused more stress and frustration than needed with still no answers or resolution I need more assistance to get this matter resolved immediatly. All I am asking for is the money I have paid for a service I was never given. I need this to be issued immediatly.Desired Settlement: I want the full amount I paid to the company back. I bad for a service that was never received and now have been going on 2 months of trying to get this resolved with no out come. I need everything I paid back immediatly.

To Whom It May Concern:Prince Law is in receipt of your correspondence dated December 1, 2014 regarding consumer [redacted]. We have reviewed yourcorrespondence and appreciate the opportunity to respond. [redacted] signed a retainer agreement for representation in a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy with this firm in May 2013 and then re-engaged thefirm September 2014. She was familiar with the workings of the firm and chose, on her own, to work with us again after abandoning the prior relationship with us last year. Work has been performed in accordance to [redacted]’s retainer agreement and Prince Law had been in communication with [redacted] throughout the process.[redacted] elected to disengage representation in October 2014. Due to [redacted]’s unfortunate personal health and family challenges we have agreed as a courtesy to send her the refund requested. We wish her and her family the best during these challenging times.Regards,David P[redacted]
Review: I hired Prince Law &Associates June 2014 to file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
I paid Prince & Associates $250 per month for 6 months to file chapter 7 bankruptcy, January 2014, my case was sent to attorney Margaret E[redacted], on Feburary 24' ms e[redacted] dropped the ball and did not get my case filed within the 6 month time frame. On February 25, I called Prince Associate and spije to Megan, in client services to let her know what Ms. E[redacted] had done, she then asked me if I wanted to speak to thr President of the firm Josh Sterns, who is Ms E[redacted] boss, when I spoke to Josh he assured me the he would get attorney and my case would be filed within 45 days. Well that never happened,
IIcalled, sent e-mails, just to be told the lawyers are working on
it. October 2014 came, still no response, I called and demanded to speak to someone other than Megan thst can tellme whats going on, Megan comes on the line and says theypsid the aattorney, I asked for the attorneys name and ohone number and gave him a call, to my surprise, he is not the attorney handling my case, the attorney told me that yes he was paid, but has never cashed the chrck becsuse Prince Law Firm lied to him about the persons case they were sending him
so I called the firm last week and ask to speak to Debra, an attorney who said she is reviewing my case only to be tild that my file is now in the hands of Diana! When will this end, I am stressed out, will lose my job, wage garnishment and no wher to go! I want my case sttled, my credit restored, my life back and a refund, I truly have not gotten what I paid for.Desired Settlement: I want my case filed at there expense and my refund of $1500 dollars put back into my bank account that they drafted it from they did not stand by their promise or care what my life is like because of what they didn't do! Enough is enough!
Review: I have found myself in severe financial difficulties, therefore I contacted this firm to file bankruptcy. I should have never associated myself with this firm, they have not carried out what they said they would do as far as communications has been concerned, was taking out two times a month a fee for them at $150.00 each time, until I requested very strongly they reduce it to one time a month. I have emailed them numerous times with no response to any of the emails. Have called and was told they would call me back and they never called back/ Given wrong telephone numbers to call. Now when I cancelled the service I was told that I would receive my $150.00 that was paid on the same day of cancelling back, they are now refusing to pay that. They now say 7 days later that because it was cancelled on the same day I am not entitled to that money back. All I want is my $150.00 back!Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
