Review: When Mr. [redacted] came to my house to quote me for windows he wrote up a contract for windows and included a price for the windows, but also included a price for other work. He insisted he needed payment for everything except 400 dollars so he could order the materials so I paid him upfront. He installed the windows as stated on the contract, but never finished the other work he agreed to do. He said he needed to order the materials for the other work on the contract and would return as soon as it was done. He never returned and has been failing to return my messages or phone calls. I also called to ask that he fix a problem with a couple of the windows he installed shortly after he installed the windows and he promised to come by within a week and fix the problem. He never came by. So now I have leaky windows that he was supposed to fix and exterior roof, sophit, and gutter issues that I paid him to fix that he never fixed, all of which have gotten increasingly worse with the weather and time. Despite continued phone calls and messages I continue to get ignored or be given excuses. It has been almost 2 years!Desired Settlement: I would like to either be paid back for the work I paid him for that he never did or have him come finish the work I paid him to do. And I would also like him to fix the windows he promised to repair that he improperly installed.

Review: I entered into contract with this business on May 5, 2014 for a glass slider with installation to be on appr. 6/12/14. I check was written for $600.00 as deposit. June 12, 2014 came and went and I called to check on our order only to find the company telephone number was no longer in service. Fortuntely, I had [redacted] cell number and I did reach him. At that time, he told me they were doing reno work next door to his business and that the telephone lines were being affected. He said he would check on the status of the order but I did not hear back from him. Again, I called him and this time he told me that he was in Maine due to his mother's passing. I waited a little longer and called again. By this time we are approaching August. He did call back and asked if he could schedule the work for the end of August. This was totally fine with us. Since that time, I have left several messages but have not received any call backs. I continued to call his cell number, each time leaving a message. Finally, the last message I left for him was to cancel the order and to please have the decency to return my deposit of $600.00.Desired Settlement: I feel that I have been more than patient. At this time, I just want to cancel the order and have my deposit returned.

Review: We had our door installed by Prime Windows for $400 on March 27, 2014. Within 24 hours of the install, we noticed the door had shifted. After several telephone calls to Rich Sr and numerous promises by him to look at the door, he finally came out to inspect the door on Friday, April 4. He told us that his son Rich Jr. would be out on Monday, April 7 to fix the problem with the door. No one ever showed up on Monday nor did we receive a telephone call to cancel the scheduled appointment. I called them on Monday evening and no one answered this call so I left a message that I would give them one week to refund my money so that I could have the door re-installed by a new contractor as the door has shifted even more. I asked for a simple explanation as to why no one came out or no one called as a simple courtesy to me. I also told them that if they fixed the door or I had my check for $400 within 7 days, I would not post a negative comment on their website nor report them to the Revdex.com. I only wish I had looked at the Revdex.com before hiring them.Desired Settlement: Refund of my money so someone else can re-install the door. Explanation of why service was so poor after they cashed my check.

Yes we did install the door. They purchased the door from some one else. Who ever measured and ordered the door ordered the door the wrong size width and height. We informed the homeowner and he said do the best you can to install the door. We installed the door and it was square and closed and locked to industry standards. We got a phone call from homeowners girlfriend and she stated the door had sagged. Richard sr went there and noticed someone else tampered with the door as far as screws in hinge. So we are not responsible for what happen after we installed the door since someone else put their hands it. As I said they didn't purchase door through us and whoever measured the door measured it wrong. We feel we don't have to refund anything. We have been in business for 21 years under the same name. We don't make it a habit of not correctly installing a door/window.

I am rejecting this response because: Prime Windows has not answered one single question I asked in my original complaint. When Mr Gagnon came to our home on April 4 to look at the door he never mentioned any tampering with the door or improper sizing . He told us that his son would be out on April 7 to fix the problem WHY were we told our door would be repaired on Monday April 7? No one showed up on April 7. WHY didn't they call to advise us they were cancelling their appointment? Again I ask WHY did they not return our telephone calls or response to our voice mail? Our door was purchased at [redacted] Enfield. A family owned and operated business of 62 years. A trained professional from Kelly Fradet came to our home and measured for the door and placed the order on our behalf. I spoke with the store manager, [redacted], regarding Prime Windows accusations regarding the improper door size. He welcomes a call from the Gagnon's to discuss the specifications placed on the order for our door. The telephone number for the Enfield store is ###-###-####. The door sits just the way it was installed on March 27.

Review: I had contracted with Prime Windows to install new gutters on my home residence on June 9,2014. A deposit of $760 was given to the contractor. The project was to commence on July 10,2014 as stated in the contract. On July 11th I contacted Prime Windows to discover why they did not start the project or notify me why the project had not begun. As a result of the lack of communication and that the project did not start as stated in the contract, I asked for a refund of my deposit. [redacted] stated that they would refund my deposit on Thursday, July 17th. As of this date, July 24, 2014 I have not received a refund of my deposit. I have not heard from Prime Windows in this regard. I have tried to contact the business owner at the numbers listed on the contract. ###-###-#### and the number is no longer in service. I was previously able to reach [redacted] using the cell phone number of ###-###-####. Upon placing a call today, July 24th, 2014 the voice mail box is full and I was unable to leave a message. I would be pleased if you could help me to realize a refund of my deposit.Desired Settlement: A refund of the deposit of June 9, 2014 in the amount of $760.
