Prime Time Development

The difficulty arouse when the floor he was hired to level was never properly leveled and one tile was 1/2 to high. We told him we never walked on newly loaded tile but he insisted we did. He did attempt to correct the high tile. He did attempt to correct the high tile but we had to order new tile at a cost of $32. The purchased of the grout came to $72. Which Markus never payed for. He also regrouted the wrong color tile he laid. We wanted the tile to match the existing tile so we purchased another tile to match existing tile. Markus arrived 2 months later after 4 to 5 times not showing up. We gave him the correct tile we ordered but he stated he broke the tile and replaced it with another tile that does not match existing floor tile. His contract reads that "He is responsible for all material except tile." Since he broke the tile I purchased he should be responsible for replacing that tile. I don't want Markus back in the house for his workmanship is less then perfect. A new tile man wants $150 to replace the tile and the cost of new tiles are $232.
