Review: Prime Contractors entered a contract for construction services to replace a pool deck and front walkway for $27,255 .They began the project, but have abandoned it along with advances of $15,000. After repeated efforts to have them respond in a business like manner, I have had to resort to filing formal complaints and initiated inquiries into their failure to respond. They have given us nothing but excuses and will not fulfill their contractual obligations nor given us reasons why they have not been able to complete the job.Desired Settlement: I simply want the job completed under the terms of the contract. I have always been available to discuss any issues, but am not aware that any exist with them. I am at a loss as to what is driving their lack of response.

Review: In July,2015 I contacted Prime Contractors,Inc.from an on-line ad to install a concrete patio behind my house.8/13, ** from Prime Contractors came out to the house for an estimate.After taking measurements,he returned with an estimate of $2,600 for the proposed layout.I took a photo of the estimate at that time which covered 522 square feet for the $2,600 fee.After further discussion,we agreed to enlarge the area by about 10 square feet or so. ** did not revise his estimate at that time and said he would be back to begin work on Monday the 20th.He did not leave a copy of the estimate or a contract.8/20 No show 8/22 ** and his crew came out to layout and prepare the patio area.The Prime crew framed out a total area of approximately 534 sq feet.This was consistent with our discussions on the 13th but I was not provided with a revised estimate or a contract.8/23 ** & his crew poured cement from a delivery truck,but did NOT finish the job.Since we were leaving the next day on a trip,we gave ** a check for $2,700(extra $100 was for the black strips used against the house which ** said would cost) ** assured us they would finish the job the next day.No mention was made of additional costs.8/3 (Returned from trip)Patio not finished.Called **.NO answer 8/4,5,7 Called **,left a message.No answer.Called PC No answer 8/10 Since PC was not returning or picking up the phone,I left a Review and a message to call me on [redacted] on-line for Prime Contractors,Inc.8/11 I called ** answered right away.He said he was coming to finish the job.He said he would call me with a time.For the first time,** said it would cost an extra $250 to finish the job.He claimed that we added square footage after he gave the cement company his estimate of the amount need for the job.Despite the fact we discussed the additional 10-12 square feet on 7/13 and that he laid out the job in full the day before,we said we would give to finish the job.No show.8/14,17,18,20(now $400)21,24 8/26 Had our lawyer contact.Will come 28,31 No ShowDesired Settlement: I have been more than willing to try to resolve this matter in a friendly way but this contractor does not seem to play by any rules. I am prepared to pay an additional $250 for the completion of the job but must insist that they finish! My husband and I use the back stairs and my husband cannot step over the unfinished stair safely. See attached pictures. Would greatly appreciate any help the Revdex.com can offer.
