Review: I was at this boutique on May [redacted]. I purchased a few items, my bill total was $303. My friend also purchased a few items. My friend and I tried items on and then decided to purchase and decided we can always return if something does not work out. Three days later I called the store to let them know I would be returning one of the items. I was told that the store has a "no refund" policy and that I can exchange for something else. This is a resort boutique in the Hamptons, a summer vacation spot (2 hours away from Manhattan). I will probably not be able to go back there the entire summer so am not able to exchange. Furthermore, the refund policy is not stated anywhere in the store where the consumer can easily see nor was it stated on my receipt. I told store owner I can mail the item back at my expense at which point I would like the credit back to my card. I am only returning one of the items and I believe I should be given full credit back. The store owner also saw that we were still deciding on a few items and she should have told us about the no refund policy at which point I would not have purchased all the items. This a town where you only go for a weekend on vacation so if you purchase an item that you want to exchange you would have to spend $60 RT on the bus to get there. With no store policy posted I believe it is unfair that I have a dress that cost me $118 plus tax and I am unable to return it. That is bad business practice.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund to my card upon when the item is received by the store owner which I will mail back at my expense.

We at Prim Rose Lane love our customers and want them to be happy.
Our return policy is store credit only and it is stated on the receipt . When [redacted] called in return her dress we explained the return policy in her and she said she would either keep it or send it back and then we did not hear from her after that. When we read her complaint to you we could see what an inconvienance it is for her to come back to the shop and we are very upset that she is unhappy we want her to wear the clothes from our store and feel good in them and be happy. Please let her know she can send the dress to prim rose lane [redacted] and we will credit her credit card for the whole amount we just need her to contract us with her credit card information or include it with her return so we can process it promptly our store # is ###-###-####.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved as soon as I get the refund on my card.
