Pride in Roofing

Review: Signed written contract with Excellence in Roofing for a reroof on 8/12/11. Building Inspector for City of Sacramento signed final approval on 9/9/11. Contract provides that all workmanship on roof is guaranteed for 13 years. On 4/16/14 while cleaning cobwebs from ceiling, discovered rain water dripping marks on wood beam of cathedral ceiling in formal living room. Telephoned the owner [redacted] who had signed the contract at cell phone (916) [redacted] and made an appointment with [redacted] for him to come out on April 17, 2014 at 3 P.M. He failed to show up. I telephoned him on his cell phone two times on 4/17/14 but he apparently has caller ID on his phone and doesn't answer my calls. I left messages on his voice mail to call me back but he fails to call. On your website, it is noted that Excellence in Roofing is no longer in business. For his current voice mail message, [redacted] says "[redacted] of [redacted] Roofing." I suspect that he stopped doing business under Excellence in Roofing after a complaint was filed and resolved on 2/15/12 per your Revdex.com website and is currently doing business under the name [redacted] Roofing. The State Contractor's License Board website indicates that his contractor's license #660284 is expired with an expiration date of 12/31/12.Desired Settlement: I no longer trust this individual. I would like to have the repair work done by another company and have Mr. [redacted] pay for the repair work.
