Cruel and uncaring businessMy wife and I moved to Costa Rica in NovWe were unlucky enough to have our cargo examined by Price Transfer and charged $2,for itThis was a very traumatic experienceNext we were burglarized/robbed times within out first months, including our inch TV we had just bought for our wedding presentAt this point, we decided to return to the USAI urged our shipper not to go through Long Beach again, but he disregarded my concern and shipped us there againCustoms again ordered a search of our container and Price charged me another $2,By their own admission, it took Price only 2-hours to do soThey only opened boxes out of about 100, as indicated by the green tape on opened boxesAll the other boxes were unopened and had the same plastic sealing tape placed by the shipping companyThese boxes contained 1) my wife's shoes, 2) a box of DVDs, and 3) an electric drillThis an outrageous charge for doing so little! We are a retired couple on Social Security, with no other incomeBecause of their inhumane actions, Price has forced me into bankruptcyI have complained to them many times, to no availTheir stock answer is to contact US Customs and Border PatrolNaturally, I have done so and every single time my calls have gone to voice mail and email inquiries gone unansweredWith the outrageous fees collected by Price Transfer, they could easily afford to refund my money, but they won't because they only care about making top dollarThey do not care about the negative impact they have on their customers
