I sold my condo in 2018 and moved to Preston Gardens apartments October 22 2018 with the intention of being a long term tenant. Unfortunately,I had to change my plans due to repeated problems with the unit and maintenance department. A few examples of the problems I had were, the heat stopped working, Air conditioning didn't work most of the summer, soot covered walls and vertical blinds, air seeping under the threshold of the front door, dead mouse was found behind the stove, mildew odor emanated from the guest bathroom, apartment not cleaned well or painted throughout, continuous sound of water dripping above. Tile torn and loose in the foyer. I was very disappointed because the apartment was spacious and the property at Levis commons was beautiful. I liked living there but the property manager wasn't realistic about the condition of the property or concerned that the cleaning/painting crew didn't do a good job. I wrote a letter to Morgan Communities Corporate office after I moved outlining the issues. I can provide a copy upon request.
Refund I incurred over $1300 in moving fees within 10 months as a result of this problem. I believe Morgan communities knew they were not preparing and cleaning apartments properly before re-renting them. I am requesting reimbursement of the last moving fee of $703.50. Thank you in advance for your consideration. I can provide a copy of the invoice for the move.

*** has submitted work orders via phone and e-mail. Each work order was handled with urgency and taken care of within 24 hours. As she was still unhappy with her apartment we had offered to transfer her to a different apartment as well as with a discount. She was still unhappy. Management agreed to let her out of her lease with no penalty. However, she did not want to move out until the weather was warmer. As each concern was handled promptly we will not be issuing any type of refund to her.
