We were in need of siding and gutters for our home due to a few leaks that we just couldn't seem to stop We had several estimates for the work to be done, but we were very impressed with the presentation that Prestige had, and the quality of the materials that they were intending to use Measurements were done twice to ensure the materials that would be needed The work was scheduled to be done in just way which is what we were looking for My husband took off the day of the work so he could be home and observe what was being done The materials were exactly the quality that we were expecting The crew that showed up was short as some workers were ill The work ended up taking days to complete, but it was obvious that the men who did the work took their time and were focused on doing a quality job It was extremely hot out on those days, but they never quit They did hours a day to get it done, working past dark They cleaned up the yard the best they could in the dark, but obviously couldn't get every scrap The gentlemen were very friendly and didn't mind explaining things when we had questions We have had rain a few times since the work was completed, and so far no more leaks I would definitely recommend the company for someone who needs home improvement work done They also found us financing for the job
I signed a contract by a marketing rep who said if I cancelled the service contract within days, I get money back within 8-daysI compared the estimate with other companies and found that it was overpriced and not rated A+, so the next day, I sent the cancellation formIt has been weeks that I cancelled the roofing service and I still have not received my deposit money back!!! Very poor customer service, so disappointed...I should never listened to the soliciting guys
August 29, - I had an appointment with a rep of Prestige homes Solutions in Baltimore
I sent an email citing my neighbor's tree fell on my roof and I needed repairs to the shingles and gutters
The rep came out prior to scheduled visit and I met him
1) He immediately said my roof looked like it was 20-years old I bought the house Brand new construction The house is years old
2) He said "I am surprised you don't have leaks from the second floor." I said "no." The wall of windows were an addition and the roof in the back was installed with new shingles about years ago So there is no leaking
3) He said is fee was 17,to do the entire roof I didn't want to do the entire roof, just repairs Then he adjusted the cost to 6,000+ dollars for the roof and the damaged shingles I said I only wanted a repair to the shingles and guttersI told him that was high I specifically wanted a repair
He said, "we do not do repairs We do installations If you want repairs to the roof, you should go on Craigslist." He gave me his card just in case I changed my mind
What a waste of time and he was insulting from beginning to the end I would NEVER recommend Prestige Home Solutions or do business with them
Their Service Manager/agent, Roger, was HORRIBLE He doesn't know how to speak with customers
