Review: On 11/21/2011 Presedential Marble and Granite applied a dry sealant to my granite counter tops. This carries a 15 year warranty. If a stain does happen the company is supposed to come out and treat the stain for removal. I attempted to get a return call from the owner [redacted] on June 11,12 and 13. I sent him an email also on June 13. He will not even return my phone calls. The cost of the dry sealant was $539.00. I would like to have the stain removed as the guarantee assures. Thank you.
Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
Would like an appointment set up and the stain treated and removed.

Consumer Response /* (-5, 8, 2013/07/05) */
Consumer indicated they have heard from the company, but the issue has not been resolved. Comments follow below:
[redacted] made an appointment for July 2,2013 at 9:30 but did not show up. He called me at 10:30 and said he would be there in 1/2 hour. Since I had someone at my house waiting, I had to let them leave. I am tired of dealing with him. He still has not sent me my contract with the 15 year warranty. I told him that I would get someone else to remove the stain and send the bill to him. This was not the first time no one showed up for a scheduled appointment.
Consumer Response /* (3000, 13, 2013/07/19) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT ACCEPT the response from the business.)
There are several errors in his response. I do not live in Torrington, his company did not install the granite, I do not have a teenage daughter. My daughter is 40 years old, waited at the house until 10 AM and had to leave to pick up her children. [redacted] called me at 10:30 and said he was a half hour away. I did hang up on him as I was frustrated at this point. All I want now is my written warranty which I should have been given in Nov. 2011. I found a solution to remove the stain on my own. I cannot accept his "settlement " as he did not offer one in his response.
