I am rejecting this response because I wish Preserve @ Blue Ravine appreciated their renters as much as the appreciate being in good standing with the Revdex.com "At that time we offered customer a full set of replacement appliancesCustomer denied request and requested only replacement with new energy star appliances." This is a misrepresented statement When the maintenance technician(s) visited my apartment to try and correct issues concerning the washer/dryer and refrigerator, "they" were the ones that suggested to me that "the appliances are as old as the complex." "We can try and replace the appliances with others that *might [redacted] be available from another apartment, however, we can't guarantee they will operate any better than the ones you have." "If appliances are not working we can and will repair appliances promptly." The maintenance technicians have tried to repair said appliances to no avail "If repairs are beyond the value of the equipment we replace." Yes, with appliances from another apartment that may or may not operate properly either "It is not a requirement of the lease contract or state law to have energy efficient appliances." This comment may be true However, if the appliances in question are not operating properly, technicians have tried to correct the issue(s) without a positive result, wouldn't it be prudent to replace appliances with energy efficient ones? For the last several years, SMUD/PG&E have been providing incentives to replace old/energy draining appliances The complex may not care to satisfy their renters by doing so, however, SMUD/PG&E, the state, and federal government all agree - we need to conserve energy In addition, because the appliances in question are so old, it ultimately effects my financial situation since I am paying more for electricity "Maintenance staff have inspected appliances in March and noted that all appeared to be in working order." My son and I moved into the complex in March All appliances are not in working order "As offered previously, we’d like to resolve this issue by being allowed to swap out the appliances with the different similar units that are in good working condition." As long as they can guarantee that the *replacement [redacted] appliances are in working order, I have no issue with this However, it is apparent that they must be contemplating the efficiency and effectiveness of the current *old [redacted] appliances because I've been advised that they are replacing/upgrading existing appliances in apartments with *new [redacted] stainless steel appliances - at a cost $extra per month I've signed a twelve month lease; it shouldn't be my responsibility to pay extra to *rent [redacted] appliances; the marketing material they provide to renters suggest "premium appliances." I do not have "premium appliances." At this point, I must consider myself a renter who doesn't care about the environment nor the condition of the appliances I'm being provided As a previous homeowner who always chose the option to conserve - this is sometimes hard to allow [redacted]

Review: I have moved out of the apartment. I have put lot of effort and time to clean the apartment before vacating. I also have vaccumed the apartment. I have been charged for these items. Total amount is 267.99. I am being charged for no reason. I think apartment just wantes to make money. I would like them to show proof that the apartment was dirty. They also charged me for carpet shampooing. Shouldn't that be part of doing business for the apartmet?Initially when I took the apartment they quoted one rate but when I took all the papers to sign the lease my rate was increased as they have sensed that I needed the apartment urgently. I wanted put that point out to give a sense of their customer service. I spoke to their Manager regaring this, but she had no answer.
Desired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation)
I would like the bill to be corrected and charges of cleaning to be removed. I told them that I will pay the Carpet shampooing ($80) but not the cleaning(125). Since we have no agreement, I would like to dispute the whole amount (80+125=205). I need this to be corrected and send the right bill. Also send the collection agency a communication to remove it from my Credit report
Review: When I first became a tenant at the Preserve at Blue Ravine Apartments (PBRA), I received a note from you [redacted]. It was a wonderful welcome and my son and I felt confident that we had chosen the right apartment complex to reside in since my husbands passing and the sale of our home. However, since we have moved in March, 2014, I have had several conversations with the staff as well as the general manager regarding the appliances within my unit which have exceeded their lifespan; one staff member had suggested that the appliances within the apartment(s) are as old as the complex itself (~10 years old). I have even expressed my concerns with [redacted] in your Vacaville office to no avail. The particular appliances I am referring to:1.Refrigerator: Presently, I have the refrigerator set at 5, the highest setting. Even at this setting, the refrigerator only cools to 42F; In order to keep food out of the Danger Zone, the refrigerator must be set between 32-40 F. A PBRA maintenance person has already looked at the refrigerator and suggested that there is nothing they can do but replace it with another 10 year old refrigerator if they have one. The other option [redacted] and [redacted] provided was to pay an additional $35.00 per month and upgrade the appliances I have within the apartment. As I expressed to them, I dont require stainless steel upgrade(s) and just wish to have a refrigerator that is operable. 2.Washer/Dryer: The washer continues to exhibit a strange noise during the spin cycle. The dryer is not energy efficient and takes up to 2 hours to dry a full load of towels; the general manager of PBRA suggests to me that this is normal. However, Ive owned Energy Star appliances, inclusive of a dryer, and Ive never had to wait 2 hours for towels to dry. A PBRA maintenance person has replaced parts on both the washer and dryer within my unit to no avail. Once again, it is suggested that both items be replaced with existing 10 yDesired Settlement: I believe that Preserve at Blue Ravine should be held accountable for the appliance they provide their tenants; especially given the amount of rent requested to pay monthly. They advertise "premium appliances". However, the "standard" appliances are NOT Energy Star compliant and are as old as the complex itself ~10 years old.Their "solution" pay an additional $35.00 to upgrade (which does not include the washer/dryer) or accept the same "used" appliances from another unit that may or
