Doctor [redacted] is a very kind man. Unfortunately, kindness and professionalism is not the case with his billing department. I have been trying to resolve statements for claims that were never filed by his office for the past six months. Each time I get a statement, it has a different amount due with amounts crossed out and new amounts written in pen and highlighted. None of the statements show an itemized accounting of all charges and insurance payments/adjustments and they simply do not make sense. Finally, I contacted medicare and the supplemental insurance company. What they say and what the statements say do not match. While discussing this with Dr. [redacted]'s billing clerk, she hung up on me. When I called her back, she hung up on me again! I do not know how to resolve this problem with such an unprofessional business representative, but I will certainly NOT be seeking further services thereby incurring any further charges from Dr. [redacted]'s clinic.

Review: I saw [redacted] at Prescott Foot & Ankle Clinic three times in 2014, twice in February and once in March. At each of those three visits I paid a $40.00 co-pay. No further bill was received from Dr. [redacted] office, despite inquiries made, until I received a statement last week dated October 5, 2015, some 18+ months after service was provided. Upon checking my records for 2014 with United Health Care, apparently no submissions for payment for my three visits have been made by Dr. [redacted] office. Last week I made five(!) telephone calls (to three different telephone numbers) trying to reach Dr. [redacted] staff. Dr. Peterson no longer works at the 12th Place office, but is now in practice with podiatrists [redacted] and [redacted] Finally, finding his former office telephone mailbox full (twice), and with no other option, I decided to write him a letter, which was mailed today, October 13, 2015.Details of the statement which you may need:Statement date: 10/5/2015Account number: [redacted]Items shown: activity since 5/23/2014 -- (I have no idea how they came up with this date.)Past due 120 days: $971.00"You may contact our billing department at [redacted] for questions. Payment due on receipt."Again, thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: Resolution desired: I have requested that their charge of $971.00 be submitted to United Health Care for payment, and I also requested a meeting with Dr. [redacted] to discuss this matter in person. Additionally, I request that my account be marked CURRENT rather than 120 days past due. This is very important to my husband and to me.
