I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Thank you to those at the Revdex.com who handled this matter for me. I appreciate your quick response. Even though this is a small amount of money, for me it was the principle, and I also hope that future customers will not be treated in the same manner

Review: I asked the driver when I got into the taxi how much the fair would be. After speaking to his dispatcher, he told me it would be about 20.00. The ride was 7.76 miles. The price listed on the taxi was $2 and change for the first 1/7 mile and .35 for each additional 1/7. This would be 2.45 per mile after the first 1/7 which comes to about 19.01, plus the additional $2 and change, which would be 21 or 22 dollars. Regardless, the driver had quoted a price already. When I gave him the address, I was unsure of the number, but knew the street and the driver asked if it was the bus station, which it was, so he knew the place. He drove in the wrong direction and turned around, calling his dispatcher, I think a few times, once pulling over to call. He admitted to have been going in the wrong direction and would have to drive an additional 20 minutes. I asked for assurance that I would not be charged for his mistake and he said no, I would not. When we arrived at the destination, I was told it was $35.00. The meter in the taxi was not running. I said that he said it was about $20.00 and he replied, yeah, but his dispatcher said $35.00. I paid, then called the taxi company as soon as I arrived home. They at first did not answer the phone and I had to call a few times until someone picked up. The man said he was the dispatcher. When I told him what happened, he said that the few was $35.00 and would not discuss it further.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the extra money I was charged.
