SCSCU (hereinafter referred to as the "bank) closed a checking account that I opened at their North Charleston location due to having a negative balance, and charged off this account
The bank was informed that the balance was not being paid due to fraudulent transactions existing on the accountThe fraudulent transactions were disputed directly with the merchant "Google Play"Who after concluded an in-depth verification was able to verify the purchases were completed by someone in Russia based on the IPVinformation that was tracked when the transactions were completed
Therefore, Google Play reversed the charges and sent them back to the payment method usedThe bank received these reversed funds, and satisfied the balance of the charge offRefused to waive the NSF fees associated with the transactions or that occurred thereafterA
For years, I had no issues with my debit card account at SCSCULast year, they issued a new 'chip' debit card
Per SCSCU, I HAVE to have debits per month 'run as a credit' chargeSince the new chip card was issued, I have consistently been charged $ Per Month for 'failing' to meet this requirement (when first told it was a Suggestion or Preference)The New chip cards AUTO Run as debit and either many/most business don't know How to offer a run as CREDIT option or don't know How to! I called SCSCU and they were very UNsympathetic! Offered NO helpThis Is WRONG! I have now paid $ in Extra Charges! I want these fees RETURNED since THEY (SCSCU) Sabotaged their own policy! And are ripping customers off
