We have been out to take a look at the leak they mentionedThe repair tech and his helper found small seam that had a small gap present due to wear and tearThe repair tech mentioned to the customer that it looked like the small areas might have been dried out and cracked a little
prematurely but that it was a easy repair and could be seam sealedFrom the repair techs feedback to the office he informed them that he could not do any repair work at that moment because he needed to talk to our office because the workmanship roof warranty was expired as the job was done at the end of July first of August and the contract stated on it a 5yr workmanship warrantyHe made no mention of improper roof installationI personally went and visited the site and inspected the roofIt is in good shape and noticed the small seams as wellThe flat roof has no visible manfdefect just standard aging for a 7yr old Firestone not Goodyear TPO productI spoke with the owner and let him know my findings and that even though its technically out of warranty I would be more than happy to have our repair tech do the seam patches on those two small spotsHe adamantly refused and told me to never step foot on his property again and that this S-storm was created by the two repair techs that came out and that they said it wasn't installed rightI than offered to meet back up there on the roof with him, my repair techs and possibly the local Firestone rep to discuss this face to face and clarify any miscommunicationI stated that it seemed reasonable to me do do this asked if if that seemed reasonable to him as wellHe stated that he did not want us on his property and that they would contact an attorneyI said I was disappointed to hear that but if he changed his mind to call me and I'd still help with the small repairs needed at no charge
