Our home is for sale and the buyer contracted Premier to inspect our home We had previously contracted another home inspection company to try to avoid any issues during the buyer's inspection All items found by our first inspector were fixed
After the Premier Inspector finished his inspection, I asked if he could share what he found and he noted, "No, the report will be given to the buyer but there is nothing crazy." He also noted, "Your home is well maintained." After reading his report, my wife and I both felt we had been misled and we were very disappointed; he had noted several items that were not later confirmed by us or by Licensed Contractors
Some of incorrect items were: Furnace flame uneven, tree limbs in contact with incoming service line not confirmed by NES, several water leaks which were not confirmed by a licensed plumber, electrical issues not confirmed by licensed electrician, and several other items incorrectly stated Contacts with Premier resulted in my asking for and receiving many additional photos confirming some issues which the report did not clearly show When asked why more or larger photos were not included, the response from the office was, "It would make the file way too long."
Before this is over, I will have spent considerable dollars to learn that many issues noted by the inspector were incorrect
